  Join us on April 18 at Lenoir Community College for the EPIC Center’s Walk 4 Life and 5K! This event offers a chance to get active while supporting the EPIC Center’s mission of offering life-affirming support and care to women facing unexpected pregnancies. Our goal is to bring our community together to stand for life and support families in our community.

  The Event begins at 8:00 AM with opening ceremonies. The 5K will start at the conclusion of the opening ceremonies, and the 1-mile walk will begin around 8:30.

  By walking with us, you’re sending a powerful message that life matters and that no one walks alone in their journey of motherhood. Families, churches, and individuals are encouraged to join this inspiring event, uniting as a community to uplift local families and celebrate the value of life. We welcome strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs. No pets, please.

  Come be part of our powerful message of encouragement and advocacy. Together, let’s make a difference, one step at a time!

  We need volunteers to make this event a success! Anyone interested in helping can e-mail Emma Barnes, EPIC Center Executive Director, at ed@easternpregnancy.net, or call 336-880-2753.

  Giveaway: You MUST register by 03/20/26 to receive a free race T-shirt with your registration. You will receive your race tees at check-in on race day.

  The 11th annual Mother Earth Brewing Ironclad Half-Marathon & 5k, brought to you via Ironclad Races Inc and title sponsor Mother Earth Brewing. Ironclad Races Inc is a Kinston based non-profit corporation with a mission to produce sporting events in Kinston and donate all proceeds to local non-profit organizations and charities benefitting our community.

  Ironclad Races in partnership with the Mother Earth Brewing Ironclad Half-Marathon event board, local business and volunteers aim to bring runners to our community and highlight the historic and cultural beauty of Kinston.

  While you’re here spend time in the local shops, restaurants or pubs while you enjoy a weekend in our historic southern town.

  We’re certain you’ll agree, the Mother Earth Brewing Ironclad Half-marathon is the most welcoming half-marathon in Eastern North Carolina.

  NOTE: Unisex t-shirts will be short sleeves and ladies shirts will be a rocker tank top.
