    The CoopStrong Four Miler includes a 4 mile run, 4 mile Ruck, or 1 mile fun run/walk to honor the memory of Nelson Cooper. CoopStrong is a Charitable Fund that supports ALS research, local families living with ALS, and ECU scholarships. Join us on March 14th at 9:00 am at the Greenville Belk building!

    CoopStrong Race T-shirts are guaranteed to all participants registered by February 25th, 2025. A limited quantity of shirts will be available for participants who register after February 25th.

    Packet pick up will be on March 13th from 12:00pm-6:00pm at Fleet Feet in Greenville, NC. On Saturday, packets may be picked up beginning at 7:30am.

    Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness is hosting an event with local sponsors and support to help promote the health of the Pitt County area! We want to give competitive and first time runners a chance to experience the benefits of exercise and healthy living with a half marathon and a FREE 5k and 1 mile Fun Run!

    Feel free to arrive early or hang around to visit local partners for health and wellness in our community.

    Pricing:

    Half Marathon: $55 early-bird, $65 regular, $75 on race day

    5K & 1-Mile: FREE (but still requires pre-registration)

    Times:

    Race Day Registration/check in: 6:30- 8:00 am

    Half Marathon start: 7:30 am

    5K start: 9:00 am

    1-Mile start: 8:30 AM

    Top 3 male & female finishers overall for the Half Marathon will receive trophies

    Top 3 male and top 3 female finishers for the 5k for each age group will receive medals as follows

    Ages 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

    All half marathon participants will receive finisher medals and a T-shirt

    Top 3 overall male and female half marathon finishers will also receive a trophy

    Courses:

    Both the 5K course and the Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.

    The half marathon course will have water stops along the course as follows (GPS coordinates in parenthesis):

    1. At Martin St and Greene St after 2.5 miles (35.62913, -77.37254)

    2. At N Woodlawn St as you proceed towards the greenway near mile 5 (35.614368, -77.363098)

    3. At S Elm St in front of the Drew Steele Center between mile 7 and 8 (35.601214, -77.359236)

    4. At the corner of Ficklen Rd and Berkley St at after 9 miles (35.597674, -77.362821)

    Porta-potties will be along the course as well.

    There is a 3:30 time limit for the half marathon. This equates to approximately at 15 minute pace per mile minimum. Those who are not able to make this cutoff are encouraged to participate in the 5K.

    The 5K course will have one water stop along the course.

    PRE-Race Day Packet Pick Up will be on

    Thursday, March 5th from 11:30am-6:00pm and

    Friday, March 6th from 11:30am – 6pm at Kinetic Physical Therapy & Wellness.

    The address is 1540 East Arlington Blvd (This is on the corner of East Arlington and Wimbledon Drive across from the Children’s World Center).

    In your packet you will receive your shirt, your race bib (no bib needed for 1 mile fun runners), clips for your bib, and a few other race materials.

    Race Day Packet Pickup will be at the amphitheater at Town Common on E 1st Street Greenville, NC from 6:30am - 8:30am

    Saturday, March 7 Race Day start times are as follows:

    Half Marathon: 7:30am

    1 Mile Fun Run: 8:30am

    5k: 9:00am

    PARKING: CLICK HERE to check out parking around Town Common. ECU will be on Spring Break so we will have even more space. In addition to public parking on the streets here are some additional areas to park:

    Five Points Plaza – 500 Evans St. Corner of Evans St and 5th St

    Roses Lot – 323 Evans St – Corner of Evans and E 4th St

    Blount Harvey Lot – W 4th St at the corner of S Washington St and We 4th St

    Merchant Lot – 405 S Washington St between 4th and 5th St

    4th Street Deck - $0.75 per hour

    Other Notes:

    Please be sure to arrive early so you can be at the start line on time.

    There will be portable toilets on the half marathon course as well. There will also be snacks and drinks at the finish line.

    The Awards Ceremony will be held live in person around the Amphitheater Stage at 10:00am. Let's get ready to come out and have fun this Saturday.     What better way to celebrate the mother-figure in your life than to run a race in her honor in time for Mother's Day? Proceeds raised from Family First 5k will benefit Carolina Pregnancy Center (CPC), a non-profit organization that supports moms in need in Pitt County.

    The 11th annual Pink Ribbon Run (formerly Run for the Ribbons) 5K run and 1-mile walk raises funds for local people battling breast cancer and their families.

    The event features a 5K run on a certified course with professional race timing by Run the East.

    All 5K participants receive an event t-shirt with their registration fee. You must register no later than September 13, 2026 to guarantee an event t-shirt.

    There is no charge to walk the 1M route. No event t-shirt is included for free participants.
