5 running events in Carrboro, North Carolina

The 14th annual St. Paul Village Community Walk & 5K Run will be held at McDougle Middle School in Chapel Hill, NC on Saturday, March 7, 2026. Starting at 9am. St. Paul Village will be a multi-use development that will be located in the historic Rogers Road Neighborhood.

Early-Bird registration is $30/individual and $50/family (2 adults, first child free and $5 for each additional child). Early-Bird special ends on January 30th and then prices will increase by $5. Every paid entrant will receive a free t-shirt.

This event features electronic timing by Cardinal Track Services, an awards ceremony with medals and monies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall winners in female and male categories, prizes for each age group, and a family friendly atmosphere. As a tithing church, St. Paul will donate 10% of the net proceeds to two worthy local causes: Chapel Hill-Carrboro PORCH and Greater Area Triangle of the American Red Cross.

Let's hit the Trails with the Fleet Feet Carrboro & Durham's Spring 2026 Trail Running Program - Into The Woods! Whether you are a seasoned trail runner looking for a new challenge or a beginner trail runner and have never set foot on a trail, join us for 8 weeks of exploring some of our favorite local running trails. For our upcoming season we'll be focusing on Trail Training Techniques as well as building our endurance. This group will meet once a week on Sunday mornings at 8 am at different trail heads to get you ready to tackle the Zen Squirrel Trail Runs in May 16, 2026.

Program Details:

• Information Session & Gear Up Night: March 19th at Fleet Feet Durham Southpoint, RSVP here, 6-7pm!

• Program Starts: March 22nd, Carolina North Forest

• Program Ends: May 16, 2026 with the Zen Squirrel Trail Runs

• We'll explore local trails at Carolina North Forest, Eno River State Park, Umstead State Park, Wilson Park, Briar Chapel, and more

Runs are every Sundays at 8 am. These will be held at various trails around the triangle that will help expand your knowledge and comfort level of running in the area

• We'll have options for beginners and more seasoned trail runners, and we have a hiking group. Your training plan can help accommodate any level.

• This is a very beginner friendly trail season! For any questions or concerns about your eligibility please email liz.goodman@fleetfeet.com.

• Cost: $110 and we will share a discount code to register for the race!

ASICS is making a stop on their More Energy Tour with the Carrboro Run Club on March 31st! Join ASICS, Fleet Feet and the Carrboro Run Club for a fun and energetic demo of the all new Superblast 3!

Meet at Dingo Dog Brewery in Carrboro on March 31st. Check-in starts at 6pm, run goes off at 6:30 and we'll end the night with some giveaways and raffles.

There will be routes for all levels and abilities. This is open to all paces, walkers included!

We meet every Tuesday evening at 6:33pm at our NEW home base (as of February 20, 2024): Dingo Dog Brewing in Carrboro.

Get a feel for the route, terrain, and pacing as we run key sections of the course together.

8:00 AM – Fleet Feet 4 Miler Course Preview

A shorter preview option perfect for runners preparing for the 4 Miler or anyone looking for a fun group run.

9:00 AM – No Boundaries 5K Open House + 1-Mile Guided Run/Walk

Curious about starting a running routine? Join us to learn about our beginner-friendly No Boundaries 5K program and enjoy a relaxed, guided one-mile run/walk with coaches and community members.
