This isn't your typical race. Our Club Member winter race series makes every runner competitive, whether you are an elite runner or a back-of-the-packer. We'll stagger the race start so that everyone is predicted to finish at the same time. Each runner starts based on their pace, with the fastest runner starting last. Faster runners try to catch up in a mad dash to the finish line. Hang out after the race and enjoy some hot drinks on us.

Once you leave Thirsty Street Brewing's beer stop, the road is yours. Stay close to the bike lane marked by cones!

You will have 8 beers to drink on the course, and all in the first 2 miles! Once you run through the back gates of Dehler, we'll have some beer ready for you as well as snacks/treats from Michelle's Pantry.

    After Party:

This is a beer fest style after party. Beer will start flowing at 10:30am. More beer will be ready as soon as breweries finish up on the race course. We are guests of Dehler Park, please be considerate of the Billings Mustangs who will be practicing on the field. Also, lets keep the area clean so we can keep coming back. Moving the finish line to Dehler Park is a great privilege.

September is Suicide Awareness Month & Addiction Recovery Month. Jimmy was an avid prayer runner who ran for his recovery and it also helped him with his own silent struggle with his mental health. Run For Jimmy 5k / 1 Mile Walk is not only in remembrance to our beloved running brother but to raise awareness of suicide rate realities in our communities and how it is strongly tied to addiction struggles.

This event will be a chip timed 5k run and an untimed 1 mile walk. The event will take place in the nearest parking lot East of the Airport Roundabout of Billings, MT. Click our Location link for precise location.

There will be T-shirts available to handout at the day of the event on a first come first serve basis. There will be a race bib pickup day on Friday September 19, 2025 at the small shelter at South Park, Billings, MT from 12pm to 1:45pm. Bibs can also be picked up on the event day morning from 7:30am to 8:45am. Please come early to avoid long line wait on event day.

This year we are taking optional donations. Thank you!
