Let's help Henry complete his 50 miler in Mississippi! (If you don't know Henry...well, we will introduce you to a legend!)

No, you don't have to do 50 miles, but you can do as many or as few miles as you desire in the 30 hour time frame!

If you want to try a long distance race, this is the one for you! No pressure, no hassle, no worries! We got you covered and you will have all the encouragement and trail buddies you can ever hope for!

Course is at a Baseball complex and will be .5 mile out and backs.

Please prepare to provide your own food, snacks, and drinks. Limited aid station will be provided.

Limited to 50 participants.

Please choose race insurance if you feel that you may need to cancel. As we are not a business, we give all extra funds after expenses to charity. No refunds are given.

Come join us for the Key City Classic!!

The race will begin at 8 a.m. (the fun run will begin around 8:30) on Saturday, April 25th at the corner of Cherry St. and Grove St. in beautiful downtown Vicksburg. The race will consist of a 10K run, 5K run, and 5K walk that are open to all ages and a 1-mile fun run which is open to ages 12 and younger.

The race will be held in conjunction with the Old Courthouse Museum's Spring Flea Market, a fun and popular Vicksburg attraction that sees thousands in attendance. Following the race, we invite you to enjoy the sites and sounds of the Old Courthouse Spring Flea Market and it's over 100 vendor booths.

Overall, Masters, and Grand Masters awards will be given for the 10K run, 5K run, and 5K walk. In addition, each race will give awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in the following age brackets: 19 & under; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60--69; 70-79 & 80 and older.

The Key City Classic is a fundraiser for Grace Christian Counseling Center, a non-profit organization that provides mental health counseling, education, and services for individuals, families, and groups. This will be Grace's 18th annual race to host!

SCHF presents the 9^th Annual “Star-Spangled Night Run” in Vicksburg.

A 5K Night Run/Walk through downtown Vicksburg on June 20, 2026

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation (SCHF) is thrilled to present the 9^th Annual “Star-Spangled Night Run in Vicksburg.” Come join us and help us light up the night in this unique event which will include a 5K run and a 5K walk through downtown Vicksburg! It will take place on Saturday, June 20th at 8:00pm and will begin and end at the Southern Cultural Heritage Center.

Registration is open now! And there are several ways to participate! Registration options are: $35 – 5K Individual Fee, $20 – 5K Kids Registration (12 & under), these fees are good through June 12th (add $5 after June 12^th); 5K registrations include a Night Run T-shirt, Race Bib, Glow Item, and FREE Admission to the After-Party; $30 – Spirit Runner registration includes a Night Run T-shirt, Glow Item, & FREE Admission to After-Party; and $10 – After-Party Armband (only necessary if you are not registered for the race). The first 150 registered participants will be guaranteed a Night Run Shirt. Entry forms and complete event details are available by visiting southernculture.org. Entry forms and fees can be dropped off at SCHF Business Office or mailed to SCHF, 1302 Adams Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180, or you can register online at www.RaceRoster.com. Race packet pick-up will be Friday, June 19th at the SCHF Auditorium (corner of Crawford and Cherry Streets) from 3:00pm -6:00pm and before the

race on Saturday at the race site starting at 6:30 pm.

After you cross the finish line, the party begins in the SCHC Auditorium! The After-Party will include food, drinks, music, and fun for all! We will light up the night just in time for Independence Day! For FREE entry into the After-Party which includes free food and drink, runners and walkers should show their race bib and volunteers should wear their Night Run T-shirt. All others can pay $10 for an After-Party Armband for entrance to the party.
