    Get Your Heart Started 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

    *** REGISTRATION WILL BE TURNED OFF AT 7:15am on Saturday, 2/28/26 ***

    Join Cardiology Associates of North Mississippi on February 28 at Fairpark in Tupelo for the Get Your Heart Started 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run! This event encourages active lifestyles and raises awareness about heart health. Proceeds provide help and support to patients on their heart health journey throughout our region. We will have a DJ, a special guest, vendors, prizes and more! Check out our Facebook Event Page!

    Every step you take helps build a future where every heartbeat counts — free from preventable heart disease.

    • Start Times:
    • 5K (3.1 miles) at 7:30 a.m.

    • 1-Mile at 7:35 a.m. (not timed)

    • Route: Start and finish at Fairpark in front of City Hall - out to the Elvis Presley Birthplace and back to Fairpark.

    • T-Shirts (short sleeved): Guaranteed for those registered by Feb. 5, 2026

    • Packet Pickup:

    • Feb. 27 | 3–6 p.m. | Gloster Creek Village Food Court

    • Race Day | 6:30–7:15 a.m. | Fairpark

    • Timing: Chip-timed by Time2Run Race Timing using the Agee Race Timing System.

    • Prizes: We will be raffling prizes off for those who register! Click here to see Prizes.

    • 8 & under Kids Run: Bring the kids! They will receive a prize bag and be included in a mini race inside Fairpark.

    We have a Not Timed 5k option. Participants that register for this option are not eligible for awards and cannot change to the timed event on race day. Thank you for understanding! ♥

    AWARDS (Chip Timed Only):

    Awards will be given to males and females in the following categories:

    Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd

    Masters (40 years of age and over) 1st

    Grandmasters (50 years of age and over) 1st

    Age division awards will be given three deep to males and females in the following divisions: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & Over

    Checks can be made payable to The Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi, or you can donate online by clicking this link: HCF of North Mississippi. Sponsors will need to have payment and logo sent in by 2/5/26 to make it on the shirt and banner. We appreciate all of our Sponsors!

    Get your heart started in February while walking or running with us at Fairpark. It's also American Heart Month in February! Make this a family event! You will learn about heart disease that can be caught and treated early and/or even prevented.

    Just bring your bike and we got the rest. For a thousand years this was the trade route that joined the Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Natchez tribes. Now cyclists will get to enjoy views of ancient mounds...

    Just bring your bike and we got the rest. For a thousand years this was the trade route that joined the Choctaw, Chickasaw, and Natchez tribes. Now cyclists will get to enjoy views of ancient mounds as the spring bloom begins heading Northeast from Mississippi to Nashville.

    INCLUDES

    – 4 Nights Accomodations

    – 4 Dinners of Classic Southern Food

    – 3 Lunches

    – Transport from Nashville to Start in New Albany

    – Roving Sag

    – Ride Leaders max 6:1 ratio

    – Aide Stations stocked with sports drinks, Gels, Bars, Cola, & Water

    ITINERARY**

    March 4

    7pm - Meet at Trace Bike Shop for Transport to New Albany

    (4 hour Van ride with 1 bathroom stop)

    March 5

    Start the day riding South on the Old Gulf & Ship Island railbed. After 40 miles stop for a decadent brunch. Then remount and join the Natchez trace for a 45 mile ride to Tupelo.

    (Shorter ride option will be to only ride the 2nd ride)

    March 6

    The day begins with a trip to Elvis Presley's birth place. Then it is on to 2 wheels Alabama bound for an 85 mile day. The day ends rollng along the Tennessee River delta.

    (Shorter ride option of 50 miles)

    March 7

    Rolling into Tennessee the roads become tree lined and rolling. The day is 60 miles and ends with fireside cooking.

    March 8

    All eyes are set counting down to the 440 mile marker post which signifies the end of the day. It is a 65 mile day and most riders are done and on the road home, or headed to the airport, by 1pm.
