The 46th edition of the Heart O' Dixie Triathlon will be held on Saturday June 20th, 2026 - during the Neshoba County Fair. The race begins at 6:30 a.m. with a 1/2 mile swim in Lake Tiak O’Khata in Louisville, MS - followed by a 27 mile bike ride down hwy 15 into Philadelphia, MS - it concludes with a 6.5 mile run finishing on the horse racing track at the historic Neshoba County Fairgrounds. The first Heart O' Dixie Triathlon was held in 1980 not long after the first modern swim/bike/run Triathlon event was held at Mission Bay in San Diego, California in 1974.
