Come out this spring to Otahki Lake KOA for a lucky fun run on Saturday March 21st!
Start Time: 1 mile- 9:00 am, 5k- 9:30 am
Race Meeting Place/Registration: Otahki Lake Lodge from 8-8:55 am on 3/21/2026
Course Description: This will be a run through the park with moderate hills and gravel paths. The 1 mile fun run will start 30 min prior to the 5k group and this course will be a continual loop. Participants of both races will keep their 5k bib the entirety of both events.
Come dressed in green or your favorite St. Patrick's Day attire! Race awards will be given to the top 3 finishers of the 5k. Swag: Both 5k and Combo Distance participants receive a participation medal, snacks, drinks, sticker, and a t-shirt! Shirts are guaranteed for the first 35 participants, so make sure to secure your spot soon. The top 3 finishers of the 5k will also be awarded. 1-Mile Fun Run participants receive a participation medal, drinks, snacks, and sticker.
Proceeds from both races will go to Care Camp Foundation! This organization gives joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families at medically supervised pediatric oncology camps across America.

Their mission is "to give joy, hope, and the healing power of the outdoors to children with cancer and their families at medically supervised pediatric oncology camps." KOA is a proud partner of Care Camps and activities like the Monster Dash 5k enable us to give back! Proceeds from this race will go to Care Camps!

Start Time: 9 am for both runners and walkers, Registration/Bib pick up begins at 8 am at the Lodge

This race is a 3.5 mile trail run through the park with moderate inclines. Running surface is packed gravel and mixed media terrain.
