From big races to Saturday morning group runs—find fun run events and connect with the local endurance sports community.
The 46th ANNUAL Glendale Firehouse Run 1-mile, 5K, and 10K run benefits Glendale-Kirkwood Kiwanis Youth Programs, Backstoppers, and Responder Rescue. The first 300 registrants will receive a t-shirt. Awards & attendance prizes will be provided following the Run. Chip timing services are provided by Big River Race Management. Please note that race registrations are non-refundable.
Packet Pickup
If you missed packet pickup March 23-27, you may pick up them up on the morning of the race between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m.
Parking
Parking is extremely limited around Glendale City Hall, so please walk or carpool when/if possible. Parking will not be available at the City Hall parking lots nor the lots across the street from City Hall. Participants may park where there is legal street parking, as well as at North Glendale Elementary (765 N. Sappington Rd.) and Kirkwood Early Child Center (100 N. Sappington Rd.).
Race Route
The race will start and end right in front of the Glendale City Hall located at 424 N. Sappington Rd. The 1-mile fun run will begin at 8:00 a.m. The 5k and 10k will start at 8:30 a.m. The 10k route is the 5k route ran twice. Please note that this is a shared road event meaning that the road remains open to vehicle traffic throughout the race.
Awards Categories
Awards will be presented to the first overall male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k events.
Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups for the 5k: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 & Over.

Get inspired and join the Ladue Education Foundation & Alumni Association (LEF) at the 14th Annual 'Due Run 4 Education! The beloved tradition of the ’Due Run 4 Education continues this year with a twist: you can participate either in-person OR virtually!
In-Person
Join us on September 26 starting at 7:00 am (shotgun start at 8:30) am in McKenna Plaza at the Ladue Horton Watkins Stadium. All ages are invited to participate in either a 5K or a 1-mile fun run that will start and finish on the stadium track. The event will include a live DJ, snacks & refreshments, vendor booths, awards and prizes with a chance to check yourself out on the stadium's Jumbotron. The race is organized by Big River Running Company and will feature chip timing.
Virtual
You can run or walk at any location you choose, at any time during the week, September 26 - October 3! Go to the park with the family or run on your treadmill, whatever you prefer. Keep your desired pace and time yourself so you can post the results. And if it turns out to be a lazy day, you can sleep in and still feel good about donating!
Either way, you receive a T-shirt, and, most importantly, you support the LEF and its amazing grants and programs that provide academic and enrichment opportunities for Ladue Schools students and staff.
If you’ve never done an in-person or virtual 5K or 1-mile run, it’s a great, low-stress alternative that encourages fitness for the whole family!
