Historic Riverfront 5K Run/Walk
Lace up, hit the river, and help us raise funds for our Minneapolis Neighborhood Organizations! The Historic Riverfront 5K takes you on one of the most scenic routes in the Twin Cities — winding through historic Minneapolis along the Mississippi, across the iconic Stone Arch Bridge, with sweeping views of Downtown and St. Anthony Falls. Start and finish at Boom Island Park (724 Sibley St NE).
Late summer is peak season for this route. The tree canopy is popping, the river is gorgeous, and the cityscape doesn't hurt either. Come to race, come to stroll, come to show off your dog or push a stroller — everyone's welcome, every pace is valid.
After the finish line? Kramarczuk's brats, hot off the grill. You've earned it.
Top finishers (men's, women's, 65+, and 18 & under) take home prizes courtesy of Mill City Running — and every participant walks away with branded 5K swag.
Best of all, your entry fee goes toward social and civic programming run by the St. Anthony West and Sheridan Neighborhood Organizations — two of Minneapolis's oldest and most storied communities. Learn more at stawno.org & sheridanneighborhood.org.
