Awake the Grapes Vineyard Run

Welcome to the 15^th Annual Awake the Grapes 5k and 10k runs!

The Awake the Grapes 5K course will wind runners around the beautiful Carlos Creek Winery property and through the onsite vineyards.

The Awake the Grapes 10K course will lead runners on a picturesque race through the Carlos Creek Winery vineyards, out to County Road 34, along the east side of Lake Ida, east on County Road 61 to County Road 34 and back to Carlos Creek Winery.

Each course will have paved, gravel, and cross-country terrain. Please see the Course Maps tab on the left for race routes.

After all racers have crossed the finish line, gather outside of the Carlos Creek Winery tasting room for the award ceremony. Medals will be presented to the top place in each age range for male and female runners participating in the 5K and 10K races. Overall top male and female awards will also be presented for the 5K and 10K races.

Registrations made prior to midnight on May 3rd will receive an event t-shirt

All registrations made after after May 3rd will receive a drink ticket

Not interested in running but would still like to support kids and receive an Awake the Grapes t-shirt? We have an option for you! Click the "Donation" tab while registering and attend the day of the race to pick up your shirt.

Join us for one of the only trail races held in central Minnesota! This unique trail race is held at Kensington Runestone Park, 15 miles west of Alexandria, MN. Races begin near the visitors center and will take you through some of the most picturesque trails in all of central Minnesota on your way to the finish line. 18 & younger $20 (discount at checkout)

Early Bird Price online through June 1: $40

Online registration June 2 - June 13: $45

Late Registration June 14 - 27: $50 (no t-shirt after June 13)

1K Kids Ramble:

Register anytime: $12 (no t-shirt after June 13)

Bib Pick Up on Saturday, June 27, 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM. Registration and check in will be held near the visitors center the morning of the race. Locker rooms and showers are NOT available. Indoor bathrooms are available.

The 7K will be chip timed by Ramble Timing. Results available at the finish.

8:30 AM - 7K

9:45 AM - 1 mile

10:00 AM - AWARDS for top 3 male and top 3 female finishers!

This event is hosted by Alexandria Nordic Club and all proceeds will go to support the equipping of our local HS and MS Nordic teams, growing our kids ski programs, and expanding access to Nordic skiing through trail development.

SATURDAY, JULY 4, 2026 - Come celebrate FREEDOM with us at the 4th Annual Freedom Fun Run.

All races begin at Brophy Park, and end in the same location.

Enjoy the coolness and beauty of Lake Darling, Cowdry & Brophy Lake and the rolling hills of the Brophy Bike Trails on your way to the finish line!

Registration and check in will be held at the Brophy Pavilion. Indoor bathrooms available.

Locker rooms and showers NOT available, but the local YMCA is just down the road.

Packet Pick up:

• Friday, July 3rd: 5 PM - 7 PM or

• Saturday, July 4th: 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM

Race Times:

• 7:30 AM - 10K

• 8:00 AM - 5K

• 9:00 AM - 1 mile (kids)

This event is hosted by Alexandria Community Christian School (ACCS) and all proceeds will go to support the equipping the next generation to learn, love and lead via a K-12 Christian education experience.
