Join us for the ultimate Chocolate Run, hosted by Michigan's newest state park, Belle Isle, Detroit, Mi. Offering distances for every level: 5k, 10k, and 15k. Perfect for novice and seasoned runners,
this event promises a great running event and an indulgent celebration of all things chocolate. Be among the first 600 participants to register and secure one of our highly coveted Chocolate jackets, a prized keepsake of this sweet adventure. This year's course will be flat as a pancake and incredible views of the Detroit Skyline, the Ambassador bridge, new Gordie Howe Bridge and Windsor Canada on the back side of the course. As if that was not enough no traffic to deal with on the course and plenty to do downtown after.
Crossing the finish line gets sweeter with our exclusive finisher medals, but the real treat lies just beyond the course—the best chocolate buffet you can imagine. This decadent buffet features an array of stations, each dedicated to chocolate in its gloriously varied forms: steaming hot chocolate, freshly baked chocolate treats, expertly carved chocolate right in front of you, creamy chocolate milk, rich chocolate ice cream, an interactive chocolate dipping station, assorted chocolate candies, and more.
Adding to the excitement, exceptional awards await the top three finishers in each age group and the overall top three participants. Whether you’re racing to beat your personal best or to savor every chocolatey moment, the Chocolate Run is an event you won’t want to miss. Come for the run, stay for the chocolate!

Our Mission Statement:
The men and women who leave military service often leave behind a sense of community, purpose, and identity. The community they leave behind is their military community; the purpose they leave behind is what type of work their unit performed and the identity they leave is their specific role in their unit. It is difficult to replace those things as they transition into civilian life, so it is no wonder that veterans often feel marginalized.
The mission of the 4Star4Mile Race is to provide a platform for a shared experience between our communities and our veterans. For civilians, as they run alongside the annual Veterans Day parade, they see, and can feel, the immense pride and commitment of those who served and who continue to serve, and for the veterans they see that our communities recognize our proud history and applaud our commitment, helping to provide a true sense of community and purpose that veterans long for and deserve.
It is the hope of the 4Star4Mile Race that this provides for a mutually beneficial, supportive experience.
*This is a charitable event with proceeds going to the annual Detroit Veterans Day Parade.
