The Snowman Scram 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run is a fun wintertime event designed as a fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams.

The Snowman Scram 5K Run/Walk and 1 mile fun run is a fun wintertime event designed as a fundraiser for the Pentwater Cross Country and Track Teams.

Date: February 14th, 2026

TIME: 1 Mile Fun Run starts at 11:00am with the 5K run/walk to follow.

LOCATION: Start and finish by the bus barn/track at the school.

ENTRY FEES: $25.00 for 1 mile Fun Run

$35.00 for 5K run/walk
- Packet pick up will be in the lobby of the school. You can also use the gym to warm up!
*Water will be available at the finish.

*Refreshments will be available in the cafeteria after the race. There will be many door prizes!

*Live music by Canopy Space while we wait for race results!

*We are also offering a virtual option. All 5K virtual runners will receive a tech long-sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal. It can either be picked up or mailed for an extra cost.

*Packet pick up and same day registration begins at 9:30. All runners must be registered by 10:30! Please note those who register the day of will likely not receive a shirt.

*We will be providing chip timing for the race! Results will be very quick!

*Course is flat and all on paved roads.

*A LONG SLEEVE TECH T-shirt is included with all pre-registered participants (by February 1st). Day of registrants and registrations after February 1st will not likely receive shirts.

*Finishers medals for all 1 mile fun runners (only guaranteed with pre-registration by February 1st).

*No refunds for cancellations due to weather.

*Medals to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in the following age categories…

Under 10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

*Trophies for overall male and female winners and male and female masters (40+) winners! New this year we will have a masters + trophy for 70 and over!

*Trophies for the oldest and youngest 5K finisher.

*Trophy for the finisher in the middle of the pack in the 5K race.

"Tacos & Trek for Trail" is an annual event held on the last Saturday in June. This year, June 27th, 2026.

It begins with the "Trek," a 5k ride, run, or walk, and finishes with Tacos!

Those who sign up for the Trek-5k receive two tacos and a trail shirt,

Pick up your packet in Village Green at 10:45 AM-11:15 AM

*Ride/Run/ Walk begins at 11:30

Tacos are available for sale for those who come out to support the trail for the price of 2/$15

All proceeds and donations are placed in a future maintenance for the Pentwater Hart Trail fund.

Join us at the Pentwater Marina (519 S Hancock St) on Saturday October 11th, at 10am for a 5K race! Weave through the beautiful Village of Pentwater at whatever pace you would like, no matter what there's a beer waiting for you at the finish line!

What is included?! All participants receive:

Celebratory beer at the finish line! (Must be 21 and older)

Exclusive Stout Stumble Shirt - Shirt size NOT guaranteed after October 1st. Quantity may be limited. If you do not see where to pick a shirt size, please email events@pentwater.org after you register to lock in your shirt size before October 1st.

Access to Oktoberfest event festivities: Food, Awards Presentation, Celebration, music, Beer, Classic Car and Hot Rod Show and More!

This Stout Stumble 5K is all about being active and having fun!

The Stout Stumble is a favorite addition to our Oktoberfest celebration! Oktoberfest is fun for the whole family! After the race, stick around the Village and enjoy the Oktoberfest festivities, local shops and restaurants and more!

Important Details:

$30 to participate if registered prior to October 1st. $35 to participate if registered on/after October 1st. Shirt sizes are NOT guaranteed after October 1st. Please note that this event is scheduled to take place rain or shine. All ticket sales are final, and no refunds will be issued due to weather conditions or other circumstances. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to these terms and conditions.

This is a family friendly run for all skill levels. Run, jog, walk! All are welcome.

The route will begin at the Pentwater Marina and will wind through the Village ending on the Village Green.

The run will begin at 10am. Check in will begin at 9am at the Marina (519 S Hancock St). Pre- Check in will also be available on Friday at the Pentwater Chamber of Commerce office (324 S Hancock St).Celebration following the race will include one complimentary beer, Photo Area, Awards Presentation and more!

Please bring ID. Only those 21 and up will receive beer.
