Bear Lake Tavern's 2nd Annual 5k Run/Walk for Brain Aneurysm Awareness
Join us for a morning for fitness, fun and community all for a great cause.
Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, 2026. Bear Lake Tavern is hosting it's 2nd annual 5K run/walk for brain aneurysm awareness.
The race will kick off at 11:30am with packet pick up and on site registration starting at 10am up-until the race begins at 11:30am. This mostly flat, scenic out and back course along Muskegon Lake is open to runners and walkers of every level.
Brain aneurysms affect an estimated 1 in 50 people in U.S. and nearly 30,000 individuals each year suffer a rupture, which is often life threatening. By joining in this event, you are helping raise awareness and funds to support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's mission of education, research, and support for those impacted.
All participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt, finisher's medal and a swag bag as a thank you for supporting our cause. An aid station will be available at the halfway point to keep you fueled and hydrated.
Bear Lake Tavern will open it's doors an hour early that day, at 11am, so after you cross the finish line, participants can take their bib inside and show their server for 10% off of their bill. A 5% donation of the day's total sales will be donated directly to the Brain Aneurysm Foundation.
Lace up, show up, together we can make a difference..
