The Kindleberger Summer Festival 5K and Fitness Walk will start out our Festival Day at 7:30 am. The annual run/fitness walk has become an integral part of the Kindleberger Summer Festival as hundreds of participants of all levels and abilities join this invigorating Festival Day event! Starting in beautiful Kindleberger Park, the 5K course winds through the tree-lined streets of the City of Parchment, bringing runners and walkers back to the finish line in lower Kindleberger Park where participants can then join in the fun in celebrating 42+ years of the fabulous Kindleberger Summer Festival of the Performing Arts! This race is in honor of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day (which is October 15, though we're running/walking in September when the weather is hopefully nicer for being outdoors!). Miscarriage, stillbirth, and infant loss are sad realities for many families in the United States and around the world. Proceeds from this race will be donated to the Star Legacy Foundation, Amos' Anchors, and Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep.

🚶‍♂️ Walkers will follow a one-loop course - 2 miles

🏃 Runners will follow a two-loop course - 3.1 miles

👕 Shirts are included with registration before September 1

🍎 Post-race snacks and water are provided
