Join us for the third annual Run Branch County 5k & Half Marathon! Our event will be held on Sunday, September 6th, 2026 in Coldwater, MI. Start time is 8am.

Event pricing:

Opening race fee until 7/31: $30 for 5k, $60 for Half Marathon

8/01 to 8/30: $35 for 5k, $70 for Half Marathon

Race day 8/31: $40 for 5k, $80 for Half Marathon

• Save $5 off your total transaction if you register 3 or more people at the same time.

FREE Kids 50 yard dash - please register your child so we have an idea how many children are participating.

Participants receive a t-shirt with registrations by 8/1. T-shirts are not guaranteed after 8/1. (5k and half marathon participants only)

Medals - Finisher medal provided to all 5k and Half Marathon participants.

Aid Stations/Restrooms: 5K - 1.5 mile mark (water & gatorade only); Half-marathon - 3.6 miles (water/gatorade), 5.0 (water/gatorade/restroom), 6.8 miles (water/gatorade), 9.0 miles (water/gatorade/restroom), 10.6 miles (water/gatorade)

Packet pickup: Saturday, 9/05, 1-4PM, Dr. Robert Browne Recreation Center, 1776 Heritage Dr., Coldwater, MI 49036 Sunday Race day morning starting at 6:00-7:30AM

Proceeds from the event will provide local athletic organizations with the opportunity/ability to support youth participation.

We will have food vendors and the race start/finish is at an outdoor recreational area which offers outdoor basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, pickle ball/tennis courts, disc golf course, children's playground.

The race will be professionally timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.

About this Event: Coldwater High School's National Honor Society (NHS) annually stages this event as a fundraiser supporting various local organizations such as the Shelterhouse, veterans, and needy Coldwater youth. All participants receive a t-shirt, age group medals are given, and the female and male overall winners receive a frozen turkey.

Early Registration:

• 5K Run/Walk - Adults $20.00 Until November 8th (11:59 pm)

• 5K Run/Walk - Students 18 and Under $10.00 Until November 8th (11:59 pm)

• Registration Includes a Race Tee Shirt - Only Guaranteed if registered before November 1st. Extra Shirts will be ordered but available on a "First Come - First Serve" Basis.

Late Registration:

• 5K Run/Walk - All Ages $25.00 Saturday (Race Day)

• 5K Run/Walk - Students 18 and Under $15.00 Saturday (Race Day)

• Registration Does Not Guarantee a Race Tee Shirt - Only Guaranteed if registered before November 2nd. Extra Shirts will be ordered but available on a "First Come - First Serve" Basis.

Awards: Age group medals with the overall female and male winners receiving a frozen turkey and a plaque.

Tee Shirts:

Timing and Scoring:

Provided by MAC's Sports Timing - Results will be LIVE on RunSignUp during the race and posted during the event.
