They are committed to educating and assisting the community in responsible pet ownership.

Purpose
With a focus on health and wellness promotion, the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held its first Annual Latino Health 5K Run/Walk in September of 2015. The goal was to encourage
Hispanic families to maintain a healthy lifestyle and incorporate physical activity, such as running or walking, into their daily lives.
The WMHCC believes that by showcasing the fun side of physical activity through a family-oriented 5K walk and run, participants can feel energized and prepared to continue striving toward better overall community health. The run/walk begins and finishes at Roosevelt Park where we will have our Finish Fest. Food, free kids activities and awards ceremony until 12pm.
While the event is geared towards the Latino community, all of West Michigan is invited to support the endeavor to promote healthy habits and balanced lifestyles.
