    • Early 5K and 10K Registration - Until May 31st (11:59 pm) $35.00

    • Early Registration fees for 12 Years and Under receive a $10.00 discount.

    • Late 5K and 10K Registration - June 1st Until Race Day $45.00

    About The 2026 Virtual Event

    Participants will have between Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 28 to complete your run. Once you have the 5k/10k/kids run completed you will send in your time to the run sign-up website. Your race shirt and bib will be mailed to you (while supplies last) once you have your 5k/10k/kids run completed. No race awards. When registering for our race, you’ll be directly supporting our emergency relief day camps, free weekly diaper-drive, meal distribution programs and blood drive services during this pandemic. We appreciate your consideration and generosity as we all work together to support our community, neighbors, and local businesses!

Wind through scenic Michigan woodlands, tackle a mix of hills, tight turns, and flat stretches, and take in stunning views of the African savanna, where giraffes, zebras, and antelope roam. More than just a race, your participation helps support wildlife conservation and the zoo’s mission to inspire a love for nature. Run wild for a great cause—sign up today! This event serves as a great platform for fundraising, playing a vital role in supporting Binder Park Zoo's impactful conservation message and initiatives.

    Pre-Registration ONLY - Race Limited to 1,000 Participants

    Registration Dates & Fees

    All participants in both 5K events will receive a free day-of-admission pass to the zoo and their first Bell's beer for free (21 and up only).

    Special Pricing Dates: (for the Gazelle Gallop-5K Run and Sloth Walk-5K Walk)

    • Early Bird Registration: Feb 7 - February 28 (11:59 pm) $50

    • Pre Registration: March 1 - June 20 (11:59 pm) $60

    Registration Fees Include: Race Registration, performance race shirt, zoo pass for the day, and first Bell's beer free at the brew station for adults over 21 years of age (other option available for participants under 21).

    Friday Early Packet Pickup

    • Reduce your time in line with early packet pick-up.

    • From 4pm to 6pm on Friday, June 26th, we will have early packet pick-up in the Cross Administration Building (Zoo Office).

    • Participants may also register on Friday during packet pickup if space is available.

    Saturday Event Times

    • 6:30 am - Gates Open

    • 6:45am to 7:45am - Packet Pickup.

    • 7:30am - Gates to zoo entrance closed to prep for race - be here before 7:30am to park in zoo lot.

    • 8:00am - Race Start for the Gazelle Gallop (5K Run), Sloth Walk (5K Walk). Post Race Cool Down After The Race.

    • Last participant must cross the finish line by 9:30am.

    • Bell's Beer Stations – open during Cheetah Chase and also on zoo grounds all day

Top overall male and female master excluded from age category awards. Results will be LIVE on RunSignUp and posted during the event On Site and later in the day at www.macssportstiming.com.

    We're back with The 2026 Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon! This is a sprint triathlon/duathlon that showcases the City of Battle Creek and its amenities. Willard Beach Park will be the site for this high quality multi sport event. There is a sprint distance triathlon and a sprint distance duathlon. Relay teams of all types are also encouraged to participate. Swim 500 meters, Bike 12.4 miles (20K), Run 3.1 miles (5K). This is one of the best courses around for a sprint distance triathlon, duathlon, or relay.

    This year the Cereal City Triathlon & Duathlon is offering both 2 and 3-person relays. Each team member will be able to register and pay individually as well, so no need to worry about who is footing the bill! Grab your fastest friends, your swim team teammates, and your cycling pals and put together a winning relay team!

    Returning this year, ages 18 and under can participate in our "Super Sprint" option which consists of a 400 meter swim, 10K bike, and 3K run.

    Each registration includes a t-shirt, finisher's medal, and post-race meal from our awesome food truck!

    Hampton Aquatics proudly presents the 99th Goguac Lake Swim which will take place at Goguac Lake (Willard Beach). Participants will swim 1.15 miles in open water, with times being recorded for overall and age bracket winners. Proceeds from the event will go towards sponsorships for adaptive swimming.

Explore the zoo after hours on the same course as our Cheetah Chase event and enjoy an evening full of fun, adventure, and of course, supporting wildlife!     Registration Fees

    All registered participants of Tour de Zoo will receive Tour de Zoo swag, activity token, and their first New Belgium Brewing beer for free (21 and up only, valid ID required), non-alcoholic options available.

    Late Registration: August 9 - August 14: $60

    Please Note: Participants must bring their own bikes. Class 1 e-bikes that are pedal-assist are allowed. Bike wagons/trailers and training wheels are not allowed due to rough/changing terrain. Strider bikes are allowed, but please note the terrain can be challenging. Helmets are strongly encouraged and required for all youth participants.

    Course Details

    This course features a variety of surfaces including asphalt, brick, boardwalk, crushed rock, and grass. You can expect a mix of uphills, downhills, tight turns, and flat stretches. Enjoy the native Michigan woodlands and a wide variety of zoo animals, with panoramic views of the African savannah showcasing giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and more. This is a truly unique biking experience in a stunning setting.

    Raffles

    Must be 18 years or older to buy or sell raffle tickets, however a minor may be named as the raffle winner if an adult has purchased the ticket.

    Costume & Bike Decorating Contest

    We invite all participants to unleash their creativity by dressing in costumes or decorating their bikes. Whether you come as your favorite animal or a zookeeper or create a wild and whimsical bike design, your imaginative flair will add to the fun and excitement of the evening.
