Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.
Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferrable. Online Early Bird registration ends three weeks prior to the first race event.
Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.
Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.
Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

The Pike’s Peek 10K is one of the Montgomery County Road Runners Club’s premier racing events. The USATF-certified 10k race, known as a "PR course," starts at the Shady Grove Metro Station and finishes on Rose Avenue, just south of Montrose Road. Celebrate with food, family activities, music & exhibits at the post-race festival hosted by Pike & Rose! The race starts promptly at 7:50 AM.
MCRRC Members automatically receive a $3 discount (applied in your shopping cart upon successful verification of club membership). The discount will apply to the 10K race only.

This will be the 10th Annual Spencerville Adventist Academy (SAA) 5K Cross-Country Style Race and Fun Run that will take place Rain or Shine on our beautiful Campus. Spencerville Adventist Academy, established in 1943, opened our current State of the Art School facility in 2011.
All Race participants ANY DISTANCE will receive a complimentary Race T-shirt, along with a beautiful finisher's medal to commemorate this event. There will be awards for the winners in each category.
Students will be able to compete against their classmates. Awards for Top Female and Male in each class will be awarded as well as fastest Male and Female in Elementary, Middle and High School.
We will also be presenting an award for best costumes. If you aren't fast, you can still win by coming out and participating in a "Fun" outfit.
You can also Create or Join a team with your family or friends!
IMPORTANT!!! The class with the highest registration numbers (Per Capita) will receive money for their class to help with class fundraising. So, make sure ALL your classmates get registered. IF EVERYONE IN THE CLASS registers, we will DOUBLE the donation to the class!

Little Bennett Regional Park in Montgomery County, MD is a 3600 acre wooded playground filled with over 20 miles of trails, picturesque streams, and plenty of camping. Bring the family and camp or make the easy trek on race day to this convenient park, located off Interstate 270 only 30 miles West of D.C. The races courses at Little Bennett follow twisty and fun single-track hiking trails. There’s also challenging hills and plenty of stream-side running. You will not be disappointed with these awesome courses and beautiful park setting!
Charity partnership
During registration, you will have an opportunity to support a local non-profit Interfaith Works. The goal of the charity partnership is to first and foremost to raise awareness of the services that IW provides to families in our area. In addition, we hope to raise funds that will directly support their efforts. Please consider making a donation when you register.

MoCo Dems 5K Fall Fun Run is organized by the MD District 15 Democratic Caucus in Montgomery County, Maryland. This is an annual 5K (3.1mile) run/walk event for adults and youth that will be held at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, MD on Sunday Sept. 27, 2026. This outdoor, fun and healthy gathering is to promote community engagement and voter participation in Montgomery County and our beautiful State of Maryland. Come on out, enjoy some great music and meet your Maryland elected officials! Don't miss out. Register to run or walk today! All athletic levels are welcome.
ARRIVE AT 9:00 AM FOR THE PEP RALLY WITH YOUR MARYLAND ELECTED OFFICIALS! HORN BLOWS TO START RACE PROMPTLY AT 10:00 am!
All registered race participants will receive a race timing bib, race t-shirt (while supplies last), and race packet (packets can be safely stored during the race event). Medals will be awarded to top finishers! Snacks will be given to all runners at the finish line! See you at the race!
