IN PERSON, WALK UP REGISTRATION BEGINS ON SAT, APRIL 11 AT 8AM.

Positive Strides Therapeutic Riding Center invites cyclists to its 13th Annual Spring Classic Bike Tour on April 11, 2026, in support of its mission to build confidence, self-esteem and a sense of accomplishment for children and adults with physical, cognitive and emotional challenges.

Over 300 cyclists are expected to converge on the town of Easton, MD to participate in a 25, 50 or 62-mile ride along some of the most scenic routes in Talbot County. It starts and ends at Easton High School, 723 Mecklenberg Avenue, Easton, MD 21601. Packet pickup is at 8 a.m. It's a fully supported event featuring three rest stops loaded with our famous homemade baked goods as well as typical rest stop fare. Our delicious, award-winning cream of crab soup awaits you at the end of the ride. A food truck will provide additional lunch options for purchase. The event will take place rain or shine.

BECOME A FUNDRAISER We encourage ALL cyclists to donate and/or select “Become a Fundraiser” when they register for the event. It creates a page that can be shared with family, friends and colleagues. Although fundraising is optional, we appreciate every dollar raised to help us help some of the most vulnerable people in Talbot, Caroline, Dorchester and Queen Anne’s counties.

“When you ride for Positive Strides, you ride for the countless men, women and children who benefit from horse therapies on the Eastern Shore,” says Kim Hopkins Thomas, executive director of Positive Strides. From autism and addiction recovery to PTSD and cerebral palsy, horses play a powerful role in giving a person the confidence and skills they need to live a fulfilling life.

The Spring Classic is known for its friendly volunteers, homemade baked goods and the famous cream of crab soup served at lunch. This event welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels to come together to have fun and fundraise.

The Spring Classic is fun, focused and full of energy! It’s so much more than a bike ride. Follow Positive Strides on Facebook where you’ll find info on this year’s ride and photos from past rides. For more information about Positive Strides, visit www.positivestridescenter.org.

Welcome to Chesapeake Cycling Club's Tri-County Classic spring cycling event, which will take you on a tour of Talbot, Queen Anne's, and Caroline Counties, in the heart of Maryland's Eastern Shore, considered one of the top cycling destinations in America, with “a crazy quilt of fields, small towns, coves, and sinuous tributary rivers.

Check-in Details: So we will have check-in from 6:30 am to 10 am. We have each group with a suggested start time: 7:00 am for the Century route, 7:30 am for the Metric Century route, and 8:00 am for the 34.8-mile route. This is so you can ride with the group on your route, based on rest stop times. It is a check-in with a show-up-and-go, so no big line-up, but no check-ins after 10 am. You need to keep in mind that the Oxford ferry and Scottish Highland Creamery open at 8:30 am, which is 50 miles out for the Century and Century Metric groups, and 14 miles for the 34-mile group. You know your speed, so you decide what time works for you within the range we have provided.

Course Markings: We will use arrows for road routes and yard signs. We will have signs for rest stops, Ice cream pit stop, etc. Please print your own cue sheet and download the ridewithgps app. (routes updated)
