ABOUT THE RACE

The Guinness Celtic 5k is a fun Irish race (as always, walkers are welcome!) in Worcester, MA, before the Annual St Patrick's Day Parade. Watch the parade after the race from the beer garden at the finish line.

The Guinness Celtic 5K registration is available WITH or WITHOUT a Guinness Celtic 5K medal. Please note, this medal is for the Guinness Celtic 5K only and is separate from the Worcester Triple Crown Finisher's Medal detailed below in our new 3 Race Bundle.

UPGRADE TO THE GREENDALE PHYSICAL THERAPY WORCESTER TRIPLE CROWN

Looking for an extra challenge? Join us for the Inaugural Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, a 3-Race 5K series that celebrates some of the most fun holidays of the year, including the Worcester Jingle 5K on December 7, 2025, the Guinness Celtic 5K on March 15th, 2026, and concluding with the Worcester Cinco (5)K on Sunday, May 3, 2026)

Participants in the full Triple Crown will score a commemorative pint glass at EACH of the three races, as well as a Finisher’s Medal at the finish line of the Worcester Cinco K. Please note, this medal is SEPARATE from the Guinness Celtic 5K medal that is an optional add-on for the Guinness Celtic 5K registration.

To register for the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, simply select the 3-Race bundle on any of the race registration sites!

GUINNESS CELTIC 5K RACE INFO

Date: Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Start: Celtic 5k start time: 11:00 a.m. Kids Leprechaun Run start time: 10:30am (ages 12 and under on race day) Kids distance approximately 1/4 mile. Parents may run with their kids.

Location: Elm Park, 284 Highland St, Worcester, MA 01602. Note: The race start and finish are located on Park Avenue near the intersection of Park Avenue and Highland Street.

T-Shirts are not guaranteed for walk up registrations on race day.

If you are participating in the race virtually, we encourage you to pick up your race shirt from us at a Pre-Race Packet Pickup if you are able to. If you cannot make it, we will mail your shirt to the address provided on RunSignUp AFTER race day.

To submit your virtual results, you will head to RunRhody.com and select "Result" from the top navigation menu. From there, select 2025 and the race name, which will bring you to the results page. You will click a button on the top of the page that says "SUBMIT VIRTUAL RESULTS" to submit your time.

Virtual participation DOES count toward any of our race series, including the Run Rhody Grand Slam, the Greendale Physical Therapy Worcester Triple Crown, and the Tour de Patrick series.

Join us for the Fit Village 5K powered by lululemon at Polar Park in Worcester.

Built on the belief that it takes a village to make a difference, this event brings runners, walkers, and the local community together for an inclusive, high-energy morning of movement and connection.

A portion of proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Care at UMass Memorial Medical Center and Boston Medical Center, supporting patient care and research.

It’s no secret that Cinco de Mayo is one of the most fun holidays on the calendar – come celebrate it with us at the Inaugural Worcester Cinco (5)K! This festive run/walk will bring the party to the streets of Downtown Worcester on Sunday, May 3, 2026.

And don’t forget the Kids! The Worcester Cinco K event will also include a Kids race open to children 10 and under. Parents are welcome to run with their children.

After the race, it’s time to PARTY! Join us for great drinks, raffle prizes, and more! Location to be announced.

Join us for the 1st Annual 365Z Foundation Kindness Walkathon!

Saturday May 16, 2026. Registration starts at 9am. Event is 10am - 12pm

This special community event will bring people together to celebrate kindness, connection, and making a positive impact. Funds raised through the walkathon help the 365Z Foundation continue its mission of spreading kindness throughout our community and providing programs that empower others to do the same.

Participants are invited to walk individually or form a team, raise funds, and be part of a morning dedicated to making a difference. Every step we take together helps support initiatives that inspire compassion, inclusion, and acts of kindness.

This family-friendly event will include activities for all ages, including:

Face painting

Kindness rock painting

Yoga and Wellness activities

Visit with Worcester mascots

Music and more!

Each walker is encouraged to raise at least $25 to support the mission of the 365Z Foundation.

The event will take place rain or shine, so come ready for a wonderful day outdoors with friends, families, and neighbors.
