The Independence Rhode Race will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026. In partnership with the Bristol Fourth of July Committee, the half marathon will follow the beautiful downtown streets of
America’s quintessential community when it is decked out in its finest - during the Oldest 4th of July Celebration in America. The course includes incredible historic homes, a town common and the America’s Cup Museum before heading out along the scenic coastline, through Roger Williams University, following the parade route, and finishing along the water at Independence Park.
The Official Post Race Party will be Pivotal Brewing, 500 Wood St, Bristol (Mile 3 of the course). Join us after the race, and show your bib for one free beer on race day only.

The Blueberry Pie 5K and the exciting Challenger 1 Mile Run is designed for people of all abilities to
participate and enjoy the thrill of crossing the finish line. The course starts and finishes at the Cape Cod Cooperative School / Cape Cod Challenger Club at 418 Bumps River Road and takes runners through a beautiful rolling course through Osterville. This race is chip timed on every runner's racing bib. The race course is USA Track & Field officially measured but not officially certified; unfortunately, no world records can be set on our course.
Blueberry Pies from Centerville Pie Company are the prizes for both Overall and Category winners. Additional catagories this year are "age-graded winner" and "fastest team or family". We also give prizes to every 25th finisher up until the 500th finisher. This race gives you the best chance to win a prize and have a great time supporting a really great cause.
Participants ages 7 and under and 80 and over run the 5k for free! Discount will be applied when you check out.The night before the race, Friday, June 26th from 5-8pm we will have early race bib and t-shirt pick-up at the starting line. Please pick up your race bibs and t-shirts Friday, if possible. It helps make race day easier for everyone and is appreciated.
Race day bib pickup starts at 7:30 am.
The Pie Eating Contest is held at the Finish Line starting at 10:15.
Space is limited to 10 competitors in each of the three divisions.
Juniors: Ages 12 and under will be eating 1/2 of a SMALL blueberry pie.
Masters: Ages 13 and above, men's divisions will have to eat a complete SMALL blueberry pie. The women’s division will have to eat 3/4 of a SMALL blueberry pie. The pies are 6 inches.

This will be the 10th Annual Good Hope Running & Walking Well 5K. In the past we have done this race in Beverly, Lynnfield and Peabody. Proceeds from past races have been used to dig wells in Kenya,
Tanzania, Gahanna, Morocco, Zimbabwe, and Uganda. Proceeds from this race will be used to dig a well in Zimbabwe to provide clean drinkable water to thousands of people. The race will begin and end on Nahant Road in Nahant and take you on a scenic 5K walk or run through the town.

The Leonide J. Lemire 4th of July Road Race in Southbridge is one of the longest running road races in the country! The route takes a scenic course through Southbridge passing all monuments and
memorials honoring our local veterans. This race is the perfect way to start off your Independence Day.
The Local VFW Post 6055 created the 4.9 mile road race to honor Leonard J. Lemire, a Southbridge native who was killed at Pearl Harbor while serving on the battleship USS West Virginia. He was the first Southbridge resident casualty of WWII. The length of the race is now a 5-miler.
This year there, 2026, is a New Start and Finish location

The Course and Finish areas:
Police and Race Marshals will be leading, tailing, and marking the route at all turns.
The course passes all military monuments and will pass over a bridge honoring the towns veterans.
The course will have two water stations.
The first water station is on Hamilton Street near Morrill's Funeral Home.
The second water station is found at the top of West Street.
Water hoses cooling runners are set up in front of the fire station on Elm Street.
Water, finger sandwiches, and fruit will be provided at the finish line.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places in age groups as well as military, solo and duo chair, overall, and town of Southbridge categories.
A random draw prize table for all entered runners and volunteers.
Results will be available online on The EMPIRE Timing Co. website.
Race support:
Volunteers from a local running group clear the course pre-race and support runners along the course.
Police support the race at the start, at all major intersections, and tail the runners so all come in safely.

Join us on Saturday July 4th at 8:00am for the 35th Annual Boxford July 4th Road Race. Set in the historic East Boxford Village, this wonderful family event includes something for everyone including
a 2.5 and 5 mile competitive event, and the Boxford mile. All runners and walkers are encouraged to join in the fun!
The overall fastest male and female 5-mile, 2.5-mile, and Youth 1-mile (who has registered by July 1st) will receive a gift card for Benson's Ice-Cream. There will be medals for the top three male and female runners in each age group and finisher ribbons for all competitors in the Youth Mile. Race times will be available by age group following the run.
The Boxford Mile Race starts at 8:00am. The 5 Mile / 2.5 Mile runs start approximately at 8:15 a.m. (after the conclusion of the Boxford Mile). The mile run will NOT have a water stop. The 2.5 mile course will have 1 water stop and the 5 mile course will have 2 water stops.
Shirts are guaranteed for the first 350 registrations.

For more than 50 years, the Arnold Mills 4M Road Race has been a staple event in Cumberland, RI. Held every Fourth of July holiday, the popular four-mile race draws an average of 500 participants
each and every year to the starting line, including some top talent from throughout the state and often from beyond the borders. The race, which is run on a moderately-challenging course in a rural community, takes part in conjunction with the town's annual parade. In years past, U.S. Olympians Matt Centrowitz Sr. and Pete Pfitzinger, triathlon legend Karen Smyers, and RI marathon icon Bobby Doyle have made their marks at Arnold Mills. Race day registration as well as packet pickup for pre-registered participants will take place from 7:30-8:45 a.m., at the Cumberland Fire Department.
We are expecting over 700 runners at this year's race, so please plan your time accordingly. Please arrive early as parking will be limited.
