18th Annual ~ Kid's Half Mile Fun Run, 5k, and 10k.

Our Kid's Half Mile Fun Run is for kids 10 and under. Kids will receive a race medal at the finish line! The top runners in each age group will also receive a plaque so make sure you stay for the awards!

Our 5k and 10k do not receive finisher medals but the top runners in each age division will receive a race medal during the awards.

We also have a Virtual Run for those that want to do that! Your Virtual Packet will include a race bib, race shirt, and race medal. These will be mailed out prior to race week.

Please note that NO race packets will be mailed out EXCEPT for the Virtual Run. All other race packets must be picked up in Minden by Race Day.

The Miles For Jae 5K was created to honor the life and memory of Jae and to turn love and remembrance into something that brings our community together.

Now in its second year, this annual walk/run continues to grow as a day of unity, healing, and purpose. What began as a tribute has become a movement — one that uplifts our hometown and pours back into our youth.

All proceeds will support our community Fall Festival, providing a safe and exciting event for young people and creating opportunities for teens to serve, lead, and give back.

This event is open to runners, walkers, families, and supporters of all ages. Whether you’re participating in the 5K or simply coming out to show love, every step taken helps us build something meaningful.

Wear blue. Bring your energy. Let’s make Year 2 unforgettable.

Run Caney is back again! This will be a 5K, 6 mile and 12 mile loop run around beautiful Upper Caney Lake near Minden, Louisiana. The run, set in the slight hills and oak flats of the Kisatchie National Forest; is a beautiful spot to enjoy nature at its finest. It's not too hilly, not too rocky, and not too root laden. It's just right! Goldilocks would love it! This is an "Old School Style" trail run. It's a perfect first timer's race!

THERE IS NO NEED TO PAY THE $5 USAGE FEE. I'VE COVERED IT THIS YEAR BY SECURING THE DAY USE AREA.

Overall male and female winner in each race will get an award of some type. Age group winner will receive a home-made ornament of some type.
