Come conquer "The Gauntlet" at the 39th Annual Spillway Classic Trail Run! This is an off-road 3-Mile event with a course that evolves with the ecosystem and natural trails
through the Bonnet Carre Spillway. Participants are encouraged to use caution when participating, and to expect muddy / wet conditions that may vary depending on the weather in weeks and days leading up to the event.
7:00 am - Packet Pickup Opens
8:00 am - Start of 3 Mile Trail Run
9:30 am - Award Ceremony (subject to change)
Post-race refreshments for registered participants include beer from Crescent Crown Distributing, Elmer's Chee-Wees, Baker Maid sweets, Jambalaya Girl, and Kentwood Springs.
The Spillway Classic Trail Run is open to all runners and walkers of all speeds, New Orleans Track Club members and nonmembers alike.

The East Baton Rouge School District JROTC will host their Patriot Day Color Run/Walk on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 08:00 AM.
This event is more than a race—it’s an opportunity for our community
to come together in reflection, unity, and support for youth leadership and civic engagement. Come run with purpose—honor the fallen, uplift the future, and support the next generation of leaders. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to run, walk, or cheer along the route! All proceeds will benefit JROTC program initiatives and academic scholarships—empowering Cadets through discipline, leadership development, and academic excellence.

The 9/11 Heroes Run 5K welcomes runners, ruckers, and walkers of all ages and fitness levels to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who've served our nations since. We activate & unite communities and
empower local veterans, active duty, first responders, and families of the fallen.
TMF is proud to partner with GORUCK again with rucking divisions at every run. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks.
