About Heritage
Our goal at Heritage is to become a full K-12 Classical Christian school. We currently have a full Kindergarten, and we intend to add a grade each and every year. Proceeds from this race will benefit HCA's further growth, as we seek to add 1st and 2nd grades for the 2026-2027 school year. Your support is instrumental and very much appreciated! Race Details
The race will be held at The Gospel (108 Sanctuary Road, Ruston, LA). The race course is cross county style, primarily grass. On race day we are offering two awesome options: a 1 mile fun run (or walk), and a 5K for more serious runners.
Race Packages
Race packages will be available for pickup on Wednesday, March 4 from 11:30-1:00 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5200 Hwy 167, Ruston, LA.
Race packages will also be available the morning of the race at The Gospel from 7-7:45 AM. 108 Sanctuary Road, Ruston, LA

Welcome to year 6 of The Old School @ LPP!! Guess what?!
No price increase! Everything else is increasing but not the price of this race from last year to this year.
There are tiers so get in early and pay less!
This is an "Old School" style mud, dirt, blood and tears trail run at Lincoln Parish Park in Ruston, Louisiana. LPP is one of the best kept trail secrets in Louisiana. This race is 3 distances. We will have a 5 mile, a 10 mile, and a 20 mile race. The 5 mile race is a 1/2 loop of a 10 mile course. The 10 mile is a whole loop, the 20 mile is two, 10 mile loops. There will be an aid station at the start/finish area and there will be an aid station on the course at about mile 4 & 6. This race is now partnering with Rad Racing for timing but guarantee to expect the same Get On A Trail energy from previous years and excellent support from Ruston based businesses and a charity: There is a price increase on February 1st and March 1st. You may not get a shirt if you join after the 3/12 deadline. We will order extra but when they are gone. They are gone.
Making red beans and rice with sausage this year for all racers. All races begin at 8.

Kappa Delta has the privilege of hosting its annual 5k and 1-mile fun run on March 28, 2026! This race is a time when Kappa Delta and the community is able to support the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home and Prevent Child Abuse America. Check-in for the 5K and Fun Run will begin at 7:30 am. The 1-mile Fun Run will start at 8:30 am, and the 5K race will start at 8:45 am. All proceeds go to the Louisiana United Methodist Children and Family Service and Prevent Child Abuse America! We are so excited to participate and cannot wait to see what the Lord has in store!

This is a classic 5 mile trail race through the beautiful rolling hills of Lincoln Parish Park. This race is one distance only; 5 miles. Put on in conjunction with LPP; this is a production of Get On A Trail Shreveport LLC. ( The Former: Old School @ LPP guy)
This race is happening on the day of a big park festival. It'll be a great day at the park with activities for everyone! The park will directly benefit from this race.
The race will be timed. The race will start and finish down near the water by the concession pavilion. It will include part or all of the lake loop and about 4 miles of trail. If you're familiar with LPP; it will be the last 4 miles of trail...miles 6-9. If you ran the 5 miler at The Old School; this will be a different section of trail!
Overall first place male and female winners will get a special award.
There will be refreshments served after the race. Chips and a cold drink.
PACKET PICKUP IN THE PARK ON RACE MORNING AT 7-7:45.
SHIRTS ARE ORDERED PRIOR TO THE RACE DAY. I'LL ORDER 20% OVER REGISTRATION ON THE SHIRT CUT DAY.
