RACE DATE: February 7, 2026

St. Genevieve Patriot Parade

Strut your red, white and blue at the first Patriot Parade: 1-mile fun run, 5K, and Talent Show on February 7, 2026, at St. Genevieve School in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

We will begin the day with the Fun Run at 9:00 am followed by the start of the chip-timed 5K race at about 9:30 am.

The St. Genevieve Student Talent Show will be kicked off with an announcement of our race winners at 11:00 am.

Any registration received after January 16th will not be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Followed by Chilli Cook Off! Runners recieve free entry and non runner is $5 admissions.

Join us for a fun-filled family day beginning with a 1-Mile Fun Run for the kids, followed by our 8th Annual HUDDLE UP! on the 50 - 5K Run/Walk & Tailgate Cook-Off on the Campus of Nicholls State University.

Bring the entire family for food, games, and fun!

Proceeds from this race will be used to help support the Nicholls State Football team. If you are unable to participate in the race, please consider donating and joining us for fun after the race. No refunds will be given for this event.

The Colonel Cross Country 3200m is a Community 3200m Cross Country race hosted at the Nicholls Farm as a part of the Nicholls XC Invitational. It is great for trail racers or road runners who are looking for a new experience. Come run at the beautiful Nicholls Farm and kick off the morning of races at the Nicholls XC Invitational. The 3200m course is entirely low mowed grass or some dirt road portions. Nicholls Track & Field student-athletes line the course at important turns to cheer on competitors. Competitors will have post race refreshments and the opportunity to share in the festivities of the University and High School races that follow. There will be prizes for the Overall Top Men's & Top Women's and Overall Top Masters Men's and Top Masters Women's finishers. If entries exceed 50 participants there will be age group medals awarded.

Nicholls SPA will be partnering with us to offer this race free to Nicholls students. Please follow their registration process if you are a student. There will be awards for Top Nicholls male student, Top Nicholls female student, and Top Nicholls nonbinary student.
