The course is pretty flat however you must take your time and enjoy yes enjoy. You can go fast however we encouraged participants to run/walk and to really enjoy the experience.We encourage you to continue to follow common sense hygiene and to take personal responsibility for your own health & safety concerns. Please read the race instructions below:Race Site: Fontainebleau State Park (Mandeville, LA) Pavilion at the very end by the water and nearest the large parking lot. $3/person Park Entrance Fee1 Start Time: 7:45pm for 5 & 10 MilesRegistration: 6:00pm-7:30pm & Course Instructions: 7:45pm bra />10 Milers have one water/food station at the end of the 5 Mile loop. No Station for the 5 Milers.Please don’t wait to show up at the last minute, as we are expecting a full house.NO mileage switching on
Race Day. The deadline to switch your mileage up or down was Wednesday, August 14th at Midnight. At the start of the race, we ask that you line up according to your “minutes per mile”. 7-8 minute per mile will line up in the front, 9-10 minutes per mile, and so on down the line. We will NOT micromanage this. This is a courtesy you will be providing to each other.As our races already have a minimal paper or plastic policy, every participant must supply their own hydration container, and the provided water/Gatorade will ONLY be dispensed by our volunteers. Hand Sanitizer will be available. Keep Hydrated and bring Mosquito Repellant.We are doing our best to provide a safe and fun environment for you to MOVE in a positive and challenging way. Join us for a one-of-a-kind coastal race in beautiful Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi—ranked in the Top 5 of America’s Best Coastal Small Towns by USA Today!
Now in its fourth year, the Bay Saint Louis Run+SUP combines a 5K run along the scenic beach sidewalk with a 1-mile stand-up paddleboard (SUP) race. This exciting event is hosted by the Bay Saint Louis Running Company and features chip timing, a continuous transition from run to paddle, and individual and relay categories.
Participants can compete solo or as part of a 2-person relay team—one teammate runs, the other paddles. The 5K is an out-and-back route on the beach sidewalk. The 1-mile paddle heads out, then south, parallel to the shoreline, before returning.

Need a board? Contact Sip Paddle Rental in advance to arrange paddle board rental and delivery to the race start. Arrive early on race day to set up your board on the beach for a smooth transition.
