Join us in the East Bank District for a morning of movement, connection, and celebration at the East Bank Run 5K & Team Beer & Bubbly Mile. This community event brings people together to run, race, and have fun while supporting two impactful local organizations making a difference every day.
Proceeds from this event benefit Community Renewal International and The Providence House Shreveport.
Community Renewal International strengthens neighborhoods by intentionally building positive, caring relationships that create safer, more connected communities.
The Providence House Shreveport is a family shelter serving homeless families, including men or women with children and couples with children. Providence House provides safe housing, supportive services, and pathways to stability that help families rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Whether you’re running the 5K or teaming up for the Beer & Bubbly Mile (choose beer or bubbly), this event is a fun way to support meaningful work while enjoying the energy of community.

Celebrate the holiday spirit in the middle of summer at the Christmas in July 5K/10K/Half Marathon! This means Santa is on Vacay!
Come on out and join us at Walker Place Park in Bossier City as we run the A.R. Teague trail along the Red River. This festive race brings all the cheer of the season—without the cold—giving athletes a fun and energetic way to race during the warm summer months.
Whether you’re tackling the 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon, you’ll enjoy a spirited race atmosphere filled with holiday flair, seasonal fun, and motivation from start to finish. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to join in the celebration.
All athletes who cross the finish line will receive a custom finisher medal and a spirited, race-themed shirt to commemorate their accomplishment. Awards will be presented to men and women for all three distances to the top finishers in the usual five-year age groups, starting at 10 & Under.

Time: 5k Race begins at 8:00 a.m. ½ Mile Kids Fun Run starts at 7:45 a.m.

Course Description: Starting at the Arthur Ray Teague (ART) Boat Launch an out and back course on the ART Bike path.
Registration: Early registration is $25 until August 20th, $30 Aug 21st – Aug 28th. Race day registration is $35. Be sure to register early, as shirt sizes are only guaranteed for those who register by midnight August 19th.
Lazy Dawg Sleep-in Supporter: Don’t feel like getting up and running? Not a problem! Sign up as a sleep-in supporter. You still get a race shirt you just don’t have to break a sweat to get it!
Kid’s ½ Mile Fun Run: Kids ages 10 & under can sign up for the ½-Mile Kids Fun Run. Registration fee is $10 and race begins at 7:45 a.m. Top boy and girl finishers will receive a trophy!
Packet Pick Up: You may pick up your packet at Sportspectrum on Thursday, Aug. 27th from noon- 6:00 p.m. and Friday, Aug. 28th from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. You may also pick up your packet on Race Day at the Race Site starting at 7:00am.
Awards: Overall Male & Female finishers will receive a $200 cash prize and a trophy. 1st Place Male & Female in the following age groups will also receive a trophy.
Age Groups: 12 & under, 13–17, 18-29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, and 60+.
Post Party: Be sure to stay after the race for refreshments and awards!! Several area animal rescue organizations plan to be present with adoptable pets and information about their organizations!

Strollers, wagons, baby joggers, and any hand pushed or pulled vehicle will also be allowed on the course, but at a walk pace only. Absolutely NO in-line skates, roller skates, or runners with baby strollers will be allowed on the run course. This rule is an RRCA regulation!

Trail Life USA is a Church-Based, Christ-Centered, Boy-Focused mentoring and discipleship journey that speaks to the heart of a boy. Established on timeless values derived from the Bible and set in the context of outdoor adventure. Boys from kindergarten through 12th grade are engaged in a Troop setting by male mentors where they are challenged to grow in character, understand their purpose, serve their community, and develop practical leadership skills to carry out the mission for which they were created. The 5k is our only fundraiser for the year and supplies our troop with the necessary funds to fulfill all our service projects in the area, as well as maintaining our troop equipment.
MEDALS for 1ST & 2ND places for MALE & FEMALE in the following categories:
10&under/11-14 yrs / 15-19 / 20-29 / 30-39 / 40-49 / 50-59 / 60+
