Welcome to Tour De French, a USA Cycling and INKY Cycling sanctioned road race in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
The town of Frenchburg and Menifee Tourism are planning a fun day of events with vendors, food trucks, and games for kids. There will be a free kids race on Back Street after the start of the adult race.
The course will take you from Main St onto Beaver Dam Rd winding along the southern edge of Cave Run Lake where you will make the one mile climb onto Dan Ridge. This scenic set of twisty rollers will then spit you out onto a fast descent back into town. Novice Categories and Citizens will do one lap while others will do two. Strava links below

At the finish Bluegrass Caribbean Chefs will be setup with the Bus serving food (not covered by registration)
We will do awards for Top 3 in all categories with at least three riders. Categories with less than 10 registered riders may be combined for larger group starts.
Safety Notices: We will be racing on open roads The start/finish chute is the only section fully closed. We will have course marshals at every turn and a police presence in each area possible. Never cross the center line or the center of an unmarked road. If it is a multi lane road with white dashed lines all racers must stay in the far right lane. Racers are to follow traffic laws otherwise. As of right now, we only have one neutral support van and mechanic following. He is there for major mechanicals and to give racers a ride back to the finish. For emergency support you need to have your phone on hand and call 911, for a non-emergency you can call the race director or a listed official to get someone to you in a more timely manner. We will have paramedics on staff and all corner marshals will have access to our communication system, but a 911 dispatcher may be able to radio them faster
If you have a team or family member who would like to run support for your category or field please contact me I would love to have more support but our region is lacking in qualified moto officials
We are currently seeking sponsorships for cash payout prizes, but will announce cash payouts to the Elite 1&2 field if more than 20 register.
This race will count towards the Kentucky Road Racing Series and is USAC Sanctioned
