Join us for The Breakaway — a gritty gravel race through the Flint Hills, starting and finishing at the iconic Echo Cliff Park in Maple Hill, Kansas. Go the extra mile on some fantastic gravel, push through the dust, and discover what it takes to break free from the ordinary.

The Sprint – 13 Miles | 958 ft Elevation
Short, fast, and perfect for those who want to test their legs without going all in. Perfect for beginner riders looking to build their confidence! A quick loop packed with scenic gravel, rolling hills, and just enough challenge to make you earn it. Ideal for new riders or anyone looking to hammer from start to finish. This is an out 6.5 mile and back 6.5 route. Same route as last year.
The Quick Break – 25 Miles | 1,548 ft Elevation
A fast and fierce route for riders ready to taste the challenge. Rolling gravel, wide horizons, and a SAG + First Aid Station to keep you fueled and flying.
The Breakout – 46 Miles | 2,716 ft Elevation
Longer, more challenging, and made for those who crave the grind. Featuring climbs that’ll demand it all from you. Includes a SAG + First Aid Stations to keep you rolling strong.
The Full Breakaway – 72 Miles | 4,173 ft Elevation
The XL takes you farther into the Flint Hills, where long gravel stretches, and sustained climbs define the day. Designed for riders who appreciate the grind as much as the views, this route delivers a full-bodied gravel experience with SAG and First Aid Stations supporting you throughout.
