Tri Kappa is partnering with the Orleans Tri-Hi-Y as the co-beneficiary for this year’s race. Tri-Hi-Y is a service-based organization for girls in grades 9-12 in which members are involved in several community outreach programs throughout the school year. Their main philanthropy is Riley Children’s Hospital.

BUILD A CORPORATE/GROUP TEAM! Corporate/Group teams of 10 or more will receive $5 off each entry. The corporation/group with the largest team takes care of our traveling trophy for one year until the next race. If your corporation/group is participating, be sure to mark "Corporate Challenge" and list the corporation/group name.

Flat and fast course beginning and ending at Orleans' Historic Town Square. Race day registration/packet pick up opens at 8:30am at Alana Judah Art Studio, 110 W. Jefferson St, Orleans, IN 47452

First 100 registrations include t-shirt - must register by March 4th to ensure correct size.

Late registration fee after March 21 is $30

Dogwood 5K – Celebrating America’s 250th!

Join us for the Dogwood 5K as part of the annual Orleans Dogwood Festival! This year’s race celebrates America’s 250th birthday, so come ready to run, walk, and celebrate in your Red, White, and Blue.

The race will start and finish at the Orleans Monon South Trailhead (Corner of Franklin & Jefferson) along the scenic Monon South Trail. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or enjoying a morning walk with friends and family, this event is a fun way to kick off festival day.

French Lick Tri Kappa hosts it's 3rd annual fundraising 5K in memory of our sister Sharon Collier. This race will follow trails between the beautiful, historic French Lick Springs Resort and West Baden Springs Hotels. Sharon was a strong advocate for children and those with special needs held such a special place in her heart. The money raised from the 5K will be added to the fund in her memory to be used for special needs students in the Springs Valley community. Sharon also loved awarding academic scholarships through Tri Kappa to Springs Valley High School graduates so this fund will help award scholarships as well with emphasis on

students pursuing degrees in special education.

Tri Kappa is a statewide organization promoting culture, charity, and education in the communities we serve. The money raised for events like this goes right back into the community as scholarships, awards, and donations.

The Monroe County Fairgrounds is back again for the 2nd annual Holiday Lights 5k. For year two we are adding a race shirt, timing, and making it a true 5k event. This unique 5k takes you through the fairgrounds holiday lights route 2.5 times and ends at the fairgrounds free stage. Come join us and make this a new holiday family tradition!

This year's event will take place Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Packet Pickup will start at 6pm and the run/walk will begin at 7pm. Please enter the fairgrounds through gate 4 and try to arrive no later than 6:30 to allow time for the crowd to complete packet pickup. We will try to start promptly at 7pm.
