Get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day the active way at the Shamrock Shuffle 5K Run/Walk! Join us on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at the Monroe County Fairgrounds for a festive morning filled with fun, fitness, and Irish spirit. Whether you’re sprinting for a personal best or strolling with friends and family, this event is designed for participants of all ages and experience levels.
This year’s Shamrock Shuffle proudly supports SSC (Sparks Strength Club) — a nonprofit powerlifting club for junior high and high school athletes in Monroe County, Indiana. All proceeds help send these dedicated young lifters to the 2026 Nationals in Killeen, Texas this March. By participating, you’re not just showing up for a race—you’re helping local youth pursue their athletic goals on a national stage.
The course winds through the fairgrounds, offering a smooth and scenic route perfect for runners and walkers alike. Participants will check in between 6:30AM–8:30AM, and the race kicks off at 9:00AM sharp.
To add to the excitement, runners will compete within our themed age divisions—from the Leprechaun Dashers (14 & under) to the Pot-of-Gold Legends (50 & over). No matter your age, there’s a spot for you on the starting line! Each division winner will receive a special gift!
In true St. Patrick’s Day fashion, we encourage everyone to come dressed in their most festive green gear. Tutus, hats, shamrocks, socks, and all things lucky are welcome! Show off your Irish pride and help create a sea of green as we race into the holiday season.
Join us for a morning filled with energy, community, and festive fun—and may the luck of the Irish be with you every step of the way!
Registrations placed by midnight Tuesday February 17th will receive an event T-Shirt and Completion Medal. Any registrations AFTER Tuesday February 17th ARE NOT guaranteed to receive an event T-shirt and completion Medal.

**All Permits have been Approved...WooHoo! **
Well, one of our local beloved trail races of over 20 plus years has been laid to rest but it's time to pick up the torch and replace it with another. All the same distances, on the same trails, and in our beloved Morgan Monroe State Forest.
Behold......Run With The Squirrels (RWTS) ....Sunday April 26, 2026
(This is in no way sanctioned, presented, hosted, or affiliated, in any way with Hoosier Hikers Council)
Distances of 5k, 10k, 10 mile and half marathon.
It will be very similar in the fact it is low cost and low frills. No finisher medals, just the satisfaction that you did something amazing out in mother nature...WooHoo!
There will be basic aid stations for the 10k, 10 miler, and 13.1 mile events.
Race fee does not include a T shirt. This has been a request by numerous runners to decrease on waste.
If you would like to purchase one you have the option to make it an add-on for $15. You must add the shirt before APRIL 10th. There might be limited quantities on hand on race day.
These will be made by our local T-shirt guru BadKnees Tees.
Come join us and lets have some trail fun...WooHoo!

2026 will be the 4th running of the Tour de Ramps at Lake Monroe. This can be a beautiful, pleasant bike ride around Lake Monroe, or, by a series of poor decisions, you can visit each of the 10 boat ramps to create a very challenging ride. The Tour de Ramps is a totally volunteer-operated event of the Bloomington Bicycle Club. Proceeds for this event help support bicycling in and around Monroe county, and this year, our charity partner - Friends of Lake Monroe.
-
Start time window: Riders may start the course from 8 - 9:30am. Please be off the course by 4pm.
-
Rider T-shirts: To keep costs down, this year t-shirts are NOT included with registration. You will have the option to purchase a t-shirt with ride registration. T-shirts must be picked up at TdR check-in. They will not be mailed to no-shows.
-
Rider registration includes sag stops, on-course SAG vehicles (with minor mechanical help) and the post ride meal.
-
Riders that visit all 10 ramps will earn a Ramps Champ award (sticker).
