We are thrilled to be a part of the return of the Jackson County Watermelon Festival in 2025! The

Brownstown Exchange Club, Watermelon 5K Run & Walk was a staple in the Festival for many years before

it dissolved in 2015. We are pleased to return as a partner to the Festival and Healthy Jackson County to

kick things off on Saturday, August 2nd! We'd like to invite you to participate in this years event and in

joining us in celebrating the renowned Jackson County Watermelon! 100% of proceeds support the

Exchange Club and our efforts in community outreach. Thanks a Melon!

Come run in one of the longest running southern Indiana road races and finish on the streets of Vallonia in the middle of the festival!! We are pleased to return as a partner to the Festival and Healthy Jackson County to kick things off on Sunday, October 19th! We'd like to invite you to participate in this year's event and in joining us in celebrating the Fort Vallonia Days Festival! 100% of proceeds support the Exchange Club and our efforts in community outreach.

WE NEED 100 FINISHERS IN THE 100K!

Though the course is rugged, Pyoca Camp, Conference, and Retreat Center balances that out with warm, dry places to eat, sleep, shower, and gather before and after the race. We've partnered with the camp to bring you affordable weekend-long packages including full meals on Friday night, Saturday post-race "ends at Midnight", and Sunday recovery breakfast.​​​
