Race Details:
PACKET PICKUP: Friday, July 24th from 4:00pm-7:00pm OR you can pick up your packet on race day beginning at 6:30 am until 8:00 am. Packet pickup is at the Gospel Baptist Church Recreational Building (115 West 5th Street, Greenville, OH).
RACE DAY: Saturday, July 25th. Adult 5k run or walk begins at 8:30 am. There is a 'kids' run that begins at 8:00 am. (This is for younger kids; they run to the fountain and back).
RACE COST:
Ages 12 & Under = $10 per person (No Shirt) IF pre-registered by midnight of July 10,2026
Ages 13 & Over = $25 per person (No Shirt) IF pre-registered by midnight of July 10, 2026
All Ages = $30 per person (WITH Shirt) IF pre-registered by midnight of July 10, 2026

Post Race Events: Awards, silent auction and post race refreshments will occur at approximately 11:00 am at Dave Knapp Ford. You must be at least 18 years of age and present to win the car.

5k Run Walk

The Gauntlet Mud Run is an exciting race featuring natural terrain and military-inspired obstacles that challenge participants to work together and persevere. Competitors will face walls to climb,
ropes to swing across, and mud to crawl through—the more obstacles you conquer, the muddier you get!
While the event is a fun community activity, top finishers will be rewarded. The top two male and female runners in each age group (13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69) will be recognized. The Top Overall Finisher will receive a $100 cash prize, and additional awards will go to the Largest Team, Largest School, and Fastest Team.
All registrants will receive a free drink token, a finisher's medal, and a t-shirt (if registered by July 15th).
Event Location: Chenoweth Trails, home of the Light Foundation —a nonprofit dedicated to providing youth with opportunities that inspire passion, purpose, and success. All event proceeds benefit the Light Foundation.
Race Waves: The first wave starts at 10:00 a.m., with new waves every 15 minutes. Select your preferred wave during online registration. Participants should arrive 1 hour prior to their wave for warm-up and check-in. Be at the start line 15 minutes before your wave.
Kids Race: The Kids Race (ages 5-12) starts at 12:00 p.m. sharp! Any registered adult can join at no extra charge. Parents must be registered participants to run with their children. It's a great family-friendly event!
Team Pricing - Special pricing for teams:
-50+ participants: $50 per person
-10+ participants: $55 per person
Parking: Parking is close to registration and FREE.
Bag Check: Bag check is located at registration. It closes at 12:00 pm or when the last adult wave is back from the course. It is FREE!
Obstacle Details: Expect a mix of natural and man-made military-inspired obstacles full of mud, water, and more!
Water Stations: There will be two water stations: one midway and one at the finish line.
Kids Zone: A fun area for children, featuring bouncy houses, games, face painting, and more, run by volunteers.
Food, Drink, & Beer Tent: After the race, enjoy an ice-cold beer, food, and entertainment. All participants get one free beer token with registration. Additional beer and food will be available for purchase (cash only). No outside food or drinks are allowed. Please bring a valid photo ID to consume alcohol. DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE.
Spectators Welcome: Family and friends are encouraged to come cheer on participants! There will be designated areas along the course for viewing.
Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented at 12:30 p.m.

Safety Rules:
Course Hazards: The Gauntlet Mud Run is designed to challenge participants. Only attempt obstacles you’re comfortable with. Notify a race official if you’re injured or unsafe.
Waiver: By registering, you agree to the Chenoweth Trails waiver and acknowledge the risks of participating.
Eligibility: Participants must be physically able to complete the course. No one under 12 is allowed on the main course (kids may participate in the Kids Course at noon).
Race Bibs: Participants must wear their race bib facing forward.
Photographers: The Light Foundation may use event photos and video footage for promotional purposes.
Prohibited Items: No animals, strollers, joggers, bicycles, or recreational vehicles on the course.
Disqualification: Disrespecting race officials, unsportsmanlike conduct, or cheating will lead to disqualification.
Medical Assistance: Medical personnel have the authority to remove participants from the event if needed.
Alcohol Restrictions: No outside alcohol is allowed. Beer will be sold on-site for those 21+.
Spectator Restrictions: Spectators may only be in designated areas; non-participants cannot enter the race course.

Join Darke County Parks for our 5th annual Tour de Darke!
Spend your Sunday morning in the saddle on a leisurely ride through the scenic countryside and quaint communities of Darke County. This event
is not a race, and instead a tour of the sites. There are six scenic routes to appeal to all cyclists - Mini (14 miles), Bambino (25 miles), Medio (40 miles), Gran (65 miles), Gran Max (83 miles), Ultima (100 miles). All routes begin and end at the Bish Discovery Center (404 N. Ohio St., Greenville OH 45331)
In order to ensure proper support from our volunteers, we ask all cyclists to begin their ride as listed below.
~~ Mini - start at 8am; no later than 9am
~~ Bambino/Medio - start at 7am; no later than 8:30am
~~ Gran- start at 7am; no later than 7:30am
~~ Gran Max- start at 6:45am; no later than 7am
~~ Ultima - start at 6:45am; no later than 7am
Cyclists are encouraged to finish their selected course by 2pm - please adjust your departure time as needed. Thank you.
Fully Supported w/ Rest Stops (snacks/drinks!) and SAG provided.
All roads are marked and a portion will include the Tecumseh Trail Multi-use Bike Path, with proceeds benefitting future bike trail projects. Register early to get the best price!
First time or just Looking for a Group (LFG)? We encourage solo riders and/or willing group leaders to gather at our "LFG" yard signs at the starting area. Hang out around the area, discuss desired ride speeds, and let cycling magic happen! While we can't guarantee a group pace that fits your needs, we are asking our awesome riders to consider letting others join you for that peloton group ride effect and fun! Please note, LFG riders will plan on leaving within 5-10mins of the set start time for each route... please be prompt.
Pre-order a Tour de Darke Jersey to wear during your tour past iconic Darke County locations such as Maid-Rite and Historic Bear’s Mill. - Check out our store link above to order! Custom Jersey pre-orders CLOSE mid-May (date TBD). There will be NO OPTION to purchase a jersey or shirt after these deadlines. Please ask if you have questions on sizing, as we may not be able to exchange.
Parking will be near the start location (requiring a short ride to the registration site), and details will be listed here or emailed closer to the event.
Food - Coffee will be available from Blue Bus Coffee beginning at 8:30 am, and throughout the "after-party," & we have an After-Tour Brunch option for those who pre-register.

Join us for our 4th annual aMAZing 5k trail run at the beautiful Garber Nature Center. Due to the increasing participation, we're now giving awards to the top male and female finishers of each
10-year age group. Walkers are also welcome. All proceeds go to the Friends of the Preble County Park District.
Registration for $35 includes a t-shirt. Children 12 and under are only $25 with a registered adult. If you don't want a shirt, pick the no-shirt option and save $10.

This is the Brookville’s BIGGEST ANNUAL RIDE,
and we roll out the orange (fall) carpet!
In 2025 We hosted cyclists from 12 states, plus Ontario Canada and everyone loved the routes and amazing fresh homemade finish line food made by Third Place Tavern & Event Center.
Make a weekend of it!
Cyclists can take part in routes ranging from 30 to 63 miles that begin and end at Third Place in Brookville. From the fall colors that decorate the region to the historic Village of Spires in Oldenburg, Ertel's winery stop, and even the covered bridge in Enochsburg, we are so excited to welcome everyone to enjoy our event. Stay post ride for a super tasty freshly made hot post ride meal included in your registration!
It's a perfect weekend getaway as it's also Brookville's German Fest as well as the Antique Machinery Show that weekend.
The ride is fully supported with three super-stocked rest stops. After the ride, dig into a hot post ride meal included in your registration.
There are three ride distances of 30 mile, 50 miles, and a 63-mile metric route.

This morning 5K will take place on the beautiful park trails of Shawnee Prairie Preserve. Run or walk through pristine prairies, under woodland canopies, and around wetland wildlife. Pass by iconic
locations at Shawnee Prairie like the Sugar Shack, Log House, and Blacksmith Shop before returning to the finish line near the Nature Center.
Race Details:
RACE DAY: Saturday, Nov. 14th @ 9am. Shawnee Prairie Preserve Nature Center.
5K Divisions: Male/Female: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-25, 26-35, 36-45, 46-55, 56+ Medals will be awarded to the top male and female of each division.

The Whispering Christmas Jingle Jog 5k starts and finishes at the Eaton High School Wellness Center and takes runners through the 1-million light display at Fort St Clair State Park.
