THE MISSION.
Greetings from Dr. Dora Washington, Founder and Executive Director of Tower of Hope Ministries.
On behalf of our organization and our Race Team, thank you for your interest in participating in our annual Hope 4 Healing event!
The mission for the Hope 4 Healing event is to raise funds and awareness of the need for healing from childhood trauma.
The vision of Tower of Hope Ministries is to transform people from trauma survivors into healed overcomers.
The funds raised will be used to help with our Build the Tower Campaign. This vital effort will help us secure a permanent meeting space for events, training, and community workshops. The funds will also be used for operating expenses, technology upgrades, scholarships for our Academy program, and other pressing needs.
THE MINISTRY.
Tower of Hope Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We help people triumph gloriously over trauma through research knowledge and faith-based strategies.
Since 2017, we have helped men and women conquer the long-term effects of childhood trauma by empowering them with H.O.P.E. (Heal. Overcome. Persevere. Educate.)
We accomplish this through group workshops, coaching, online courses, and community outreach.
One of the elements we incorporate in the healing process is physical exercise. Physical activity can help to reverse the physical, mental, and emotional effects of trauma.
THE MESSAGE.
There are numerous testimonies of how participants have found healing, hope, and help because of our program.
One person said, "I learned that my brain changed because of the trauma I experienced." Another remarked, "Every day brings more freedom!"
We believe this event will be a beacon to the world to let people know that there is hope! No matter how damaging the effects of trauma, it can be reversed.
As with a race, healing comes one step at a time!
