The 2026 McHenry County (Quarter, Half, & Full) Century Ride is excited to bring you a "Hub Spoke" ride to get to your 26-100+ mile bike ride through scenic McHenry County! This ride will showcase the scenic and mainly flat roads of McHenry County. The "Hub" rest stop will fill you with great snacks and sandwiches throughout the ride. From the hub you have a choice of 4 'spoke' routes with varying distances. The route has distances for every level of rider. Choose the distance, double up on one loop, tackle all four loops...You customize your route. Enjoy four loops connected through one rest stop for a fantastic day of riding! We ride rain or shine.
Staging for the start and end of the ride will take place in Sunset Park, 5200 Miller Road, Lake in the Hills. Lots of parking available. The rest area, open from 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. is located in Union at Veterans' Park. We encourage you to join us for our post ride snacks, hydration, and water. Post event food will be served from 11 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Bring your bag chair and enjoy the food, friends, and stories. Additionally there will be opportunities for photos and bragging rights of your bike stories.
