Join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at either 8:30 am or 10:00 am for an exciting event that features the scenic views of Blue Star Memorial Woods, Glenview, IL and supports Chicagoland Lab Rescue. Can I Run with My Pet? Absolutely! We are running to support pets, pet lovers, and animal charities! So you can run or walk with or without your pet! All pets that are participating must be on a short lead and well behaved.

Start Time: All Participants will start at either 8:30 am or 10: 00 am.

Packet Pickup: will be on race day beginning 1 hour prior to race start time.

Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.

Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.

Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, braces, wheelchairs, etc. to be used by runners.

Single Day Racing: Single day race registration opens one hour prior to the start of each race. The registration fee covers one single race to be run on the day of registration. ALL single day registrations should be completed onsite at the race location. Single day racers will have the option to upgrade to the full series (see tab on the left side of the page for instructions). There is a strict no-refund and no-transfer policy.

Awards: All participants receive a medal on Week 5! Trophies will be awarded to the overall top finishers in each of the divisions listed below (broken out by boys and girls respectively):

OUR PURPOSE & JOURNEY

Since 2006, the annual Run for Love has been a festive event for the Korean-American community, promoting health, goodwill, and unity throughout Chicagoland. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Logos Missions and the 30th anniversary of Christian Mutual Med-Aid (CMM), we are honored to host this year's Run for Love with the help of KG Runners Club. Please join us on May 16th.

Participant Packet Pick-up will take place at Logos Missions (2315 Sanders Rd. Northbrook IL 60062) on the following dates:

* May 14, 2026 (Thu): 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

* May 15, 2026 (Fri): 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Participant Packet Pick-up Guide

1️⃣ Find Your Bib (5K Runners Only) Check your assigned bib number at the [Bib Lookup Link] on our website.

(Note: 1-Mile Walkers do not need to look up a bib number in advance.)

2️⃣ Prepare Your Registration Confirmation Locate the “Run for Love Registration Confirmation” email from <[email protected]>. This email contains your T-shirt size and registration details.

3️⃣ Collect Your Race Gear Bring your printed registration confirmation or simply show the email on your phone at the pick-up desk.
