The Dawson Lake Dash is a 3.5 mile road race around the rolling hills of Dawson Lake in scenic Moraine View State Park in LeRoy, Illinois.

The race takes place at Tipton Park (2405 General Electric Road, Bloomington) and is an out and back on Constitution Trail. The Kids One Mile Run starts at 5:30 pm and the 5K starts at 6:00 pm.

5K early bird pricing is only $15! On 7/17 the price increases to $20. The untimed Kids Run, One Mile Walk & Puppy Prance is $10.

Bib and t-shirt pick-up is available at Fleet Feet Bloomington during regular store hours on Saturday. Race day registration and bib pick-up will be at Moraine View on Sunday from 7:00 - 8:30 am.

COURSE
The race will again follow the original clockwise direction. This means you will be running or walking Up Watermelon Hill. Yes, that means the return of that aid station. Start and Finish at the Laury Barn (Big Red Barn). The course is a 3.25-mile loop through the park. The course is a mix of grass, gravel, and pavement. There is a full aid station around the halfway point of the course and one on top of Watermelon Hill. Runners can and should have their own aid at the start/finish, including crew support.

Pick up your race packet in the Laury Barn (Big Red Barn). You will receive a swag bag with your bib, and shirt if ordered, as well as some surprises we are working on.
Canopies can be set up on Friday starting at 2 pm.

Post race food will be provided for all registered racers. We are working on getting a food truck on site at cost if you need something more to eat or if Family/Friends/Crew are hungry. We cannot guarantee that we can accommodate all food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Overnight Camping
Camping is available on Friday & Saturday. $20.00 fee includes both nights. Fee will be donated to the park. YOU MUST PAY THIS FEE EVEN IF YOU ARE SLEEPING IN A VEHICLE. Camping will be first come first serve and you can pay at online registration or at Friday's packet pick up (cash only). Quiet hours are 9:30pm-5:30am. Canopies can be set up Friday after 2 pm at no charge.
Kirby Medical Center and the City of Monticello proudly offer the annual KMC Sage City Triathlon. The venue is well designed for beginner triathletes and elite competitors, and everything in between. The shallow depth pool makes this an ideal starting point for any triathlete concerned about the swim, and the condition of the course offers an opportunity for elite triathletes to find a new PR.
Registration closes at 4PM Thursday on race week. There will be no late registration and no on-site registration. If you want to race, be sure to register by 4PM Thursday!!
All participants who register by 11:59pm CST on July 14 will receive a free race shirt. Shirts will be available for pick up on race morning.
The transition area will open at 6:30AM on race morning. Athlete marking will begin at 6:30 AM on the basketball court.
The mini will begin at 7:15 AM and the sprint will begin at 8 AM.

The Annual White Squirrel Triathlon. Whether you are a seasoned Triathlete or a first timer, this race is a great event for you!
This sprint/beginner triathlon will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at Musgrove Park and Aquatic Center in Olney, Illinois. The event will consist of a 200 meter outdoor pool swim, followed by a 14.2 mile bike (HELMETS REQUIRED), and finishing with a 5K/3.1 mile run/walk.. The event is open to all - from beginners to the most experienced athletes. Youth who will be 10 or 11 by race day may swim, run, or both, on a team. Youth who will be 12 by race day may do any, or all, of the disciplines as an age grouper or as a member of a team

Start Line Information
The start and finish line will be located in front of the parking lot to the Pavilion on the Lincoln Park . This area will be barricaded for the event.
Parking is available at the Nelson Center and nearby park lots. Please follow posted signage and look for the Start/Finish arch.
5K runners should line up toward the front.
Walkers should line up toward the back.
Please arrive at the start area by 7:45 AM for announcements and the national anthem.

The Route
The 5K course features three loops around the Lincoln Park main path, totaling approximately 3.3 miles.
Runners and walkers will start by turning left on to the main park route.

Bathrooms
There are public bathrooms available in the Nelson center, the Lincoln park pavilion and shelter #4. Please plan accordingly due to our large race!
Parking
Parking is available at the Nelson Center and surrounding Lincoln Park lots. Look for signage! Please do not park on the route or in the grass! The pavilion parking lot will be closed for our race village.

The Watershed Endurance 6Hr/3Hr Run is an unique event to challenge an individual’s physical abilities hosted by Final Lap Racing. The event will consist of a 3-hour and 6-hour timed run taking place on the 1 Mile path around the Watershed Nature Center. Participants can run, jog, walk or even take a break in between loops. The event is to see how many miles individuals can complete within the 3 or 6 hours limit. Event is limited to 120 participants. So, how far can you go?
Both distances will end at midnight. Participants will be required to wear a headlamp, waist lamp or carry a light after sunset.

Top Male/Female Ruck division winner in both races. Weight minimum - 20lbs for Female and 30lbs for Men. Packs will be weighted during pickup on race day.
*Awards will be based on the number of loops completed AND the fastest finish time within the time limit.
Aid Station
An aid station tent will be setup near the Welcome Center. This will be supplied with water, electrolyte drink, energy gels, fruit, snacks and first aid. There will be no cooked food on-site. Participants are encouraged to provide their own aid during event. Event will be a CUP-FREE event to minimize the trash in the landfills. Restrooms will be available inside the Welcome Center and in parking lot near basketball/sand volleyball courts.
Per City permits - NO grills or open flames allowed on property
Course
The course is a 1.01 Mile loop from the walking path leading to the Welcome Center. The route surface is 50% crushed limestone and 50% pavement.
Course direction changes each year. Even years - Clockwise, Odd years - Counterclockwise

Results will be posted live during the event on the RunSignUp event page. Results will also be posted on UltraSignUp within 24 hours of the conclusion of event.

The “To the Max” Obstacle Challenge is a youth and family 2K course, highlighted by approximately 15 obstacles! It is managed by the Town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department. For ages 5+, we provide a large spectator area. All race participants will receive a t-shirt, participation medal and will be timed. Trophies to top-3 competitors in each competitive age group only.

The 2026 No Baloney has a new venue in Dunlap, IL. All routes start and end at Prospect United Methodist Church (300 E Ash St, Dunlap, IL 61525).

Join us Saturday, August 9th, starting in Downtown Mansfield for a 5K run & walk. Proceeds are to benefit the Mansfield Homecoming celebration happening the following weekend! All ages welcome. The race will begin at 8:00am, starting in front Three Toad Treasures, located on the corner of S. Jefferson & E. Oliver. This will be a chip-timed event with instant and online results.
The registration fee includes a t-shirt. One per registrant. Youth and adult sizes are offered.
Deadline to register for $25 & receive t-shirt is July 28th at 11:59pm CDT. We cannot guarantee extra T shirts for registrations after July 28th. Any extra shirts will be available after the race at the registration area. Registration fee will increase to $32 after July 28th at 11:59pm. Registration will be open until 7:30am on the morning of the race.

Lake Run Club, established in 1982 is hosting a summer trail run competition consisting of the following events:
This event is part of the Lake Run Club's Trail Run Series, which includes Run the Woods 5K/8K in October and Deer Run 8K in December.
12 Hour Sunrise to Sunset, which will be ran as a last man/women standing competition. Will be 51 miles if you complete each of the loops.
The course consists of a 4.1 mile long course, measured with Garmin GPS watch. This event you have exactly one hour to run the course. If a runner completes the loop in less than an hour, they are free to relax, refuel, hydrate, and use the facilities. So, if a person does the lap in 45 minutes, they have 15 minutes to wait around. If a runner finishes the 4.25 mile loop in 58 minutes, they have 2 minutes to use at their own discretion. At the top of every hour, on the hour, any runner not making it back from the loop will end their day of running for this race. Bib will be pulled. The following will be required to get to the finish line.

Simultaneously, at the top of the hour, for twelve hours, runners that made it back in time will all line back up at the starting line to run the course again. This continually timed method is carried on till 7:00 PM, or until there is only a single person left standing. If there are multiple people that complete the distance, the fastest man and fastest women crossing the finish line on this final lap, will be the declared winners, but all that complete the final loop in the before the 6:59:59 PM will receive an award for the 12 hours of running they completed for the event.
Summer Siesta 6 hour trail run, which will start at the same time as the 12 hour event at 7:00 AM. This run will have the same format, but conclude at 1:00 PM. You can get in your Siesta waiting for your friends to complete the 12 hour race. Awards format will be same as the 12 hour event, overall male and female and awards for those runners who make the 6 hour trail run. 25.5 miles
Breakfast Club 3 hour trail run, this option will give you time to sleep in on Saturday and get a good 3 hour trail run. Starting at 9:00 AM and conclude at 12:00 Noon. Same format, need to cover the distance on the before the stroke on the hour. Separate awards will be given to overall male and female. 12.75 miles
Come as you are 1 hour trail run, if your looking just to get out and enjoy nature for an hour and run with the race participants in a low key, non-competitive fashion, or would like to get an intro in a trail run, this is your chance. Registration will be available throughout the day till 6:00 PM. To avoid any confusion, with other competitors, you will start on the hour with no exceptions. No awards, but all of the same race amenities will be at your disposal throughout the day, post food and drinks. 4.25 miles
Run until I'm done, if you want to come out and run the loop completely at your leisure, without the pressure of completing the loop on the hour, then select this option. Course will be open for 12 hours. Complete as many loops with your own defined recovery time per each loop. A self service loop counter board will be available for the day. Consider your best trail etiquette to allow those runners in other timed categories to pass in single track sections.
Average High Temp in June is typically in the low to mid 80s with overnight lows in the 60s. In the event of thunderstorm/lightening in the area, the event could be paused until the risk is out of the area for all runners and volunteers safety.
Packet Pickup will be onsite from 5-7 PM on Friday.
Race Day Registration will be online only, no paper registration and at a higher cost. Please preregister to assist organizers with food and hydration purchases and expense management.

ST. PAUL STRASSENLAUF
Join us Saturday August 22nd for the 43rd running of the St. Paul Church Strassenlauf (2k, 5k, & 10k). This year’s races are part of St. Paul's annual Kirchenfest celebration. The chip timed 5 & 10k events start at 7:30am followed by the 2k at 9:00am. Enjoy post-race beverages and a famous Bavarian Skillet breakfast (available for purchase), while top finisher, age group, and attendance awards are presented. Register by August 7th to guarantee a moisture wicking performance shirt. Shirt quantities are limited after August 8th.
The KMC Sage City Classic is a cycling road race held in Monticello, Illinois, featuring a scenic course through Piatt County. The event is designed to accommodate both competitive and recreational riders, offering smooth pavement, open terrain, and an enjoyable road racing experience in central Illinois.
This race will be held on Saturday, August 22 with two distance options. The 50K is intended to be a more laid-back race, ideal for riders newer to road racing or those looking for a shorter, less intense event. The 100K is a more competitive race that emphasizes endurance, pack riding, and race strategy. Riders registering for the 100K should be able to maintain a minimum average speed of 15 mph; participants who are unsure they can meet this pace are encouraged to select the 50K.
Awards will be given to the top three overall male and female finishers in both races, with additional age group awards in the 100K.
