EnduranceFit™ is a 12-week mobility, stability and strength program designed to improve your strength and durability to do all of the activities and events you enjoy!

EnduranceFit™ utilizes body weight, resistance bands, balls and other equipment to target movements and muscle groups involved in active lifestyles (triathlon, running, cycling, swimming, hiking, climbing, racket sports, etc). The program progresses in 4-week phases. Each phase builds on the work of the previous phase to ensure participants are ready and able to move to the next phase. The exercises are dynamic movements that foster greater balance, stability and muscular endurance. EnduranceFit™ is designed for healthy individuals that are not currently suffering from any injuries. We created EnduranceFit™ for people of all abilities who want to improve their ability to stay active successfully. EnduranceFit™ is based at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL.

    What clients say about EnduranceFit

"The workout group was super friendly and welcoming in the gym and out. I’m always hesitant to jump into a training group as I’m not a fan of the tight groups who vet outsiders. This group was muy bueno."

"I feel like I had better strength and stability (and balance) as was evidenced in my few races I did, where the times and how I felt after were very good…"

"I noticed greater strength, and durability."

"I thought there was a great balance of exercise. I would go and do the same program again!"

"Both Justin and Kevin were personal and professional. They both have a nice touch for coaching to get the best results even out of the most basic of exercises. They also took the opportunity to address deeper questions as the group had them regarding training, injury, race strategies and even sometime book club topics. :)"

"I really loved it! It did help me improve, and the group atmosphere helped keep me motivated."

"…Overall I feel extremely good about my results as the first couple weeks were rough but I felt that I consistently improved and walked away with a nice mixed workout that I can take anywhere!"

    Program Includes:

    • Evidence based program incorporating exercises to improve mobility, stability and strength for active people.

    • Program led by 30-year, full-time, professional coach Kevin McCarthy (Masters degree, USAT certified) and PHd Exercise Scientist and Athletic Trainer, Justin Stanek

    • 12 Week training program of two (2) coached training sessions per week – Tuesday & Thursday early mornings

    • Progressive program to develop greater balance, stability and durability

    • Lots of fun and support with others

    All levels welcome!

Sessions Start on: 9/30/2025, 1/6/2026, 3/31/2026 at 5am @ IWU Shirk Center Field House

The Fleet Feet Bloomington Donut Run is a fun annual event for runners and walkers of all ages to celebrate the anniversary of our Store Opening on May 23, 2013.

Participants will run/walk a one mile loop in the neighborhoods around the store 1, 2 or 3 times and will eat a Krispy Kreme Donut on each lap. You will receive a Popsicle stick after eating a donut and after completing a lap. Donuts must be eaten in the "donut zone" on Maloney Drive and can't be carried on the course. The first 100 people to turn in SIX Popsicle sticks (representing three miles and three donuts) will receive a prize.

This event is just for FUN - it is untimed, not accurately measured and there are no awards. But it is also for a good cause! For a $5 donation to St. Jude participants may skip one donut, for a $10 donation you can skip two and for a $15 donation you can skip them all and just RUN. Donate ahead of time or in-person at registration and be sure to collect your special donation popsicle stick at bib pick up (on the honor system).

All participants (except children in strollers) should be registered and wear a bib on the front of your shirt during the race. You can pick up your bib on Saturday, May 17 during regular store hours (10am - 5pm) or before the race on Sunday from 8:00 - 9:00 am. Classic "Donut Run" shirts are available for purchase during registration through 5/1 and can be picked up with your bib. We will have a limited number of shirts available for cash purchase on race day.

We need lots of volunteers to make this event possible! Tell your friends and family and click the link on the left to volunteer.

Walkers are welcome but there is a one hour time limit and the course closes at 10:00 am. Any participants still on the course at that time will need to move to the sidewalk.

The Race Director may delay or cancel the event if the conditions on race day are unsafe. In the event of a weather cancellation no refunds of the entry fee or any other costs in connection with the event will be given. All proceeds will be donated to St. Jude.
