Charleston brings a perfect blend of historic downtown charm, college‑town energy, and a unique Viking‑ship vibe straight from The Uptowner’s iconic window display.

This untimed, community‑focused 5K begins and ends at The Uptowner. Runners and walkers will follow a simple, sidewalk‑safe out‑and‑back route with a peaceful turnaround at Roselawn Cemetery, creating a signature Spirits Run moment before returning downtown for the celebration.

Get out your running shoes and bring the whole family to Races for All Paces on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Eastern Illinois University’s O’Brien Stadium. This family-friendly event offers something for every fitness level, including a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk, 5K, 10K, Toddler Trot, and Diaper Dash. Enjoy fun activities for all ages.
