EquiSol Race Series (A Park for All Seasons) - Fall Equinox 5k
Welcome to the new race series in 2026 benefitting the Gwinnett Parks Foundation.
This race is the 3rd of 4 races in the series with one
in each quarter falling on or close to the Equinox or Solstice. Each medal will magnetically link together to create a large medal map of Gwinnett County and its parks so do miss out to run all 4 races. (if you do happen to miss one and we have left over medals, we will open up a virtual option for you to run and receive your missing medal to create you full larger medal)
Due to having to order the medals early for all 4 events, the first 200 runners will receive medals on site. If we have additional runners we will order more and have them shipped to you (or you can pick up when ready)
Also you will receive a $20 refund if you refer 5 others.
Performance Race Services and the Gwinnett Park Foundation have teamed up to give you the opportunity to explore 4 of the many parks that Gwinnett has to offer.
The Gwinnett Parks Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to assist the needs, whether volunteer labor, or monetary, of Gwinnett Parks & Recreation. The foundation was organized in 2001 to improve the quality of life for all of its citizens by working in cooperation with Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation, private citizens, businesses, foundations, and the Gwinnett County government.

Lucky Number Seven:
The Carrollton Half Marathon & Half Marathon Relay
The AMP, Carrollton, GA
DON'T GET LEFT AT THE STARTING LINE!
The Carrollton Half Marathon has become a local legend, one of
Georgia's premier half marathons, and this race sells out every single year. We have a firm runner cap to keep the course scenic and safe—once the spots are gone, they are gone! Register early to lock in your spot, your shirt size, and the best pricing.
Experience the magic of seeing the sun peek over Lake Carroll as you tackle our scenic 13.1-mile course. With a route that winds through the heart of the city and finishes on a glorious, flat stretch of roadway, this is a race designed for a "strong finish" with great spectators bringing you home every step of the way.
Why This Isn't Just Another Race
The Course: Start and finish in the historic Adamson Square. You’ll glide past the water and through the shaded, rolling hills of the Carrollton GreenBelt.
The Vibe: We don't just hand you a medal and send you home. Our post-race atmosphere features music, entertainment, and a food & drink spread that makes those 13.1 miles feel like a warm-up for the party.
The Swag: Every runner (individual or relay) gets the "Goodie Trio": a premium Carrollton Half Marathon t-shirt, a heavy-duty finisher’s medal, and those all-important tickets for free food and drinks.
The Cause:
Every step you take benefits The Carrollton Greenbelt and The Community Foundation of West Georgia. This foundation helps fund many projects in the Carrollton and Carroll County area.
New for Year 7: The Corral Start!
To make your race morning smoother, safer than ever, and to account for an expanded race field, we are introducing Starting Corrals! No more weaving through crowds or dodging elbows in the first mile.
How it works: When you register, you’ll provide your Expected Finish Time. We will then group you with other runners of a similar pace. Your bib will display your assigned corral (A, B, C, etc.), ensuring that everyone starts with plenty of "elbow room" and can find their rhythm immediately. Whether you’re a sub-90-minute speedster or a steady-paced scenic cruiser, you’ll have the perfect spot at the start line!
Race Day Schedule
7:00 am: National Anthem (Get ready for Goosebumps)
7:10 am: Push Chair Start
7:15 am: Official Race Start
9:45 am: Post-Race Fun at the finish line and awards

Accessibility & Inclusivity
We believe everyone belongs on the course. If you are an athlete with a disability or special needs, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We’d love to chat about how we can make your race day seamless and spectacular.

All participants, observers, and spectators will agree to any COVID-19 PROTOCOLS that currently are or may be put in place in the future for the Follow the Sign 5K event.
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS for the EVENT:
Anyone exhibiting signs of COVID-19 such as feeling sick, recently testing positive for COVID-19 and/or being exposed to anyone showing signs or recently testing positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate in the RACE.
At the present time, wearing a face mask is optional. The RACE reserves the right to require face masks if health protocols at AIRPORT change. Face masks are not required while running/walking the 5K route.
Participants are encouraged to use their own judgement regarding social distancing when around people not in their social circle. The RACE may start in waves with a start grid to promote social distancing if necessary.
RACE participants are encouraged to hand sanitize often throughout the event.
Participants are encouraged to leave the RACE site shortly after the conclusion of the RACE.
Individuals with compromised immune systems, individuals meeting other vulnerable criteria and anyone responsible for the care of someone in the at-risk population should possibly consider this event a risky environment. We recommend these individuals participate as a "Virtual Runner."
Any or all of these protocols may be adjusted if the health environment on RACE day indicates changes are necessary.
