Macon-Middle Georgia National Pan-Hellenic Council (MMG-NPHC) is proud to announce the 3rd Annual “D9 Dash: United4Scholars 5K”, on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The event will be held at Amerson River Park (Porter Pavilion), 2551 Pierce Drive N, Macon, Georgia 31204. This family-friendly, non-competitive 5K will feature a 1-mile fun walk/run, as well as a 3.1-miles fun walk/run. On-site registration check-in begins at 8:00am, and the event starts at 9:00am. The 1-mile fun run/walk begins at 9:10am. Registration fees are: $30.00 (early registration, until April 17, 2026); $35.00 (onsite registration); $15.00 (children 0-17). There are no electronic payment options for onsite registration. Please bring the exact cash amount or make check payable to Macon-Middle Georgia Council of NPHC.
This event will raise funds for scholarships, programs, and other initiatives of MMG-NPHC, while promoting health and fitness. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome to join the race while enjoying the beautiful scenery along the banks of the Ocmulgee River.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council, affectionately known as the “Divine Nine,” is composed of the following member organizations: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
Photo Policy
The Macon-Middle Georgia Council of NPHC may videotape or take photographs of participants and/or spectators. These photographs and/or videotapes may be used for future programs and activities of the council. My registration for this event is my acknowledgement that I have read and fully understand the photo policy of the MMG-NPHC.
Sponsorship support is welcomed. We are a non-profit 501c7 organization. The E.I.N. number will be provided upon request. Refund Policy
No refunds will be given due to inclement weather.
Inclement Weather Policy
The safety of the participants and volunteers is our primary concern. In the event of inclement weather, the race will continue under the following circumstances:
Rain - the event will NOT be cancelled due to rain alone.
Lightning - If lightning is seen or thunder is heard, the event will be postponed for a minimum of 20 minutes until no signs of the storm are present. Participants should seek shelter in their vehicles or a nearby building if available. If lightning continues 20 minutes after the scheduled event start, the race will be subject to cancellation.
Tornado Warning - The race will be canceled in the event of a tornado warning.
Come to historic Luther Williams Field in Macon, GA and run The Great Bacon Race around the ballpark. Trek through the area surrounding Luther Williams Field and eat Bacon at every mile. Finish your trip to the ballpark by finishing the 5k at home plate! Not into the 5ks? Join us for a 1 Mile Fun Run!

5K DIVISIONS FOR SWAG AWARDS (awards for chip-timed participants only): Overall top male and female finishers. Top 3 finishers in male and female age groups: Under 10, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
RACE INCENTIVES: Race Shirt, electronic chip timing for 5K, and post-race refreshments.

DETAILS FOR VIRTUAL PARTICIPANT - September 27 - October 4, 2025
What does “virtual” mean? It means that you can walk or run wherever you please. Pick your date (between 9/27-10/4), choose your course (anywhere!), gather your team - kids, dogs, friends, coworkers. Run, walk, bike - however you want to participate! It's your race, your pace!
