Please come and join us for our 3rd Annual RECOVERY RUN!
The event will take place in beautiful downtown Clarkesville, Ga. Saturday, May 3rd, 2025. Race Starts this year at 9:00 am.
Start/Finish location: Pitts Park Clarkesville, Ga. 30523
REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE ONLINE PRIOR TO THE EVENT. WE WILL NOT BE DOING ON SITE REGISTRATION THIS YEAR. REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 5:00 pm ON MAY 22, 2026.
Bring your friends & family and come support Homestead Women’s Recovery Residence as we kick off our Saturday with a 5k/Fun Run!
We will have music, drinks, and TONS OF FUNNNN! Prizes will be given to the 1, 2, & 3rd place overall winners. First 50 participants to register will be guaranteed a race shirt.
Whether you're an avid runner or this is your first event, we welcome ALL! The course CAN be walked. The course is relatively flat with a few inclines and goes through downtown Clarkesville, Pitts Park, & The Clarkesville Greenway.

Come join us in beautiful Clarkesville for a 5K and/or a 3K! You may walk or run these events. Well-mannered dogs are welcomed. All events will be part of the AAA Health Series, Black Bag Series, and Clover Glove Series.

The Currahee Challenge takes place from the base of Currahee Mountain on the Colonel Robert Sink Trail, the training site of the 501st, 506th, 511th and 517th Parachute Infantry Regiments seen in Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan & The Dirty Dozen. Come and join us for an excellent and challenging 5K run/walk or 10K hill run. PLEASE NOTE: the finish line will remain open until 11:30am.
