ABOUT
[IMG_8539.JPEG]
Cobb County PARKS and the North Georgia Mountain Bike Association (NGMBA) invite you to celebrate the longest days of the year at the 12th Annual Voodoo Mountain Bike Race at Allatoona Creek Park—Georgia's largest purpose-built mountain bike trail system.
Held near the Summer Solstice, Voodoo has become an annual tradition that brings the Southeast's mountain bike community together to welcome summer the best way we know how: riding bikes, telling stories, and making questionable decisions deep into a race that's delightfully longer than it needs to be.
The days are long, the trails are fast, and summer is just getting started.
Whether you're chasing the podium, chasing your riding buddies, or just chasing an excuse to spend a weekend at the trails, Voodoo has a ride for you.
The ALL-a-Toona serves up more than 40 miles of twisting singletrack and attracts some of the nation's fastest XC racers. If you've ever wondered what your legs, lungs, and mental toughness are really made of, here's your chance to find out.
[d0a4edb4-30c9-45ef-b3cc-0a51b43f4aa2.png]
Looking for a challenge that's slightly less likely to have you questioning your life choices? The HALF-a-Toona delivers plenty of technical trail, fast racing, and bragging rights while leaving a little more gas in the tank for the post-race festivities.
Not interested in suffering for several hours? The TINY-Toona is all about fun, community, and good vibes. It's perfect for kids, families, first-timers, comeback riders, and anyone who wants to be part of the action without spending several hours wondering if the course is somehow getting longer. You'll cross the same finish line, hear the same cheers, and get the same Voodoo love.
Cobb County PARKS staff, led by Program Coordinator Candace Cook, along with the crew at NGMBA and an army of NGMBA volunteers, make this whole circus possible. Every dollar raised goes right back into trail construction, maintenance, and supporting mountain biking opportunities throughout the community.
PRIZES
[56254532-11b8-4752-8ad5-d88d3a1338c3.jpg]
The Voodoo crown isn't given—it's earned.
The fastest male and female riders in the ALL-a-Toona will be crowned Voodoo King and Queen and receive handcrafted royal headgear created by local legend Ed Baltes, along with a share of the event's cash purse (to be announced).
Top finishers across multiple categories will receive prizes from our sponsors. Every participant is entered into post-race prize drawings. Just don’t disappear before the awards ceremony—you must be present to claim drawing prizes.
ROUTES
We're still putting the finishing touches on the race routes, but expect a mix of flow, speed, rocks, roots, punchy climbs, and a few moments where your bike handling skills may get an honest performance review.
Taking place near the Summer Solstice means long daylight, peak summer conditions, and maximum time to enjoy the trails.
ALL-a-Tooners will tackle some of Allatoona Creek's most notorious trail segments, including Red Baron, Voodoo, and Hocus Pocus. The HALF-a-Toona delivers many of the same thrills in a shorter, slightly more forgiving format.
The TINY-Toona is pure fun. It’s a great introduction to the event for families, young riders, beginners, returning riders, and anyone looking for a relaxed introduction to race day.
Visit ngmba.org for trail information and pre-ride opportunities. Conditions may require route adjustments up until race day—walking a feature is still considered a valid survival strategy.
Race route maps can be found in the Maps section below.

EVENT DETAILS
The Voodoo takes place rain or shine unless conditions are determined to be unsafe by the Land Manager.
Please remember that Allatoona Creek Park trails are typically closed when wet. Riders should always check ngmba.org for current trail status before traveling to the park.
Start Times:
ALL-a-Toona: 8:00 AM
HALF-a-Toona: 8:40 AM
TINY-Toona: 9:20 AM
Official event support concludes at 2:00 PM. Riders remaining on course after that time should be prepared to continue without event support.
Helmets are required for all participants.

FOOD & HOSPITALITY
After burning through a respectable number of calories, stick around for burgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, cold drinks, and the traditional post-race debate about where everything started going wrong.
Nothing says summer quite like finding some shade, swapping trail stories, and calling it a day with friends.
Guests are welcome to join the meal as well. Donations to help offset food costs are always appreciated.
ON-SITE CAMPING
Turn race weekend into a full Summer Solstice experience by camping on-site Thursday and Friday nights. Extra daylight means more time to pre-ride, more time to hang out, and more time to convince yourself tomorrow’s race will feel easier than it actually will.
Camping locations are assigned during registration and space is limited—register early.
No power. No water hookups. But… Portable restrooms will be available.
COST & REGISTRATION DEADLINES
The combined ALL-a-Toona and HALF-a-Toona field is limited to 350 riders.
The race sells out every year, and there is no guarantee that additional capacity will be available once registration reaches the limit.
The TINY-Toona has no participation cap.
As always, every dollar raised is reinvested into trail construction, maintenance, and mountain biking opportunities.
Registration Opens December 1, 2026
TINY-Toona
$25 through June 16

GET INVOLVED
Not racing? We can still use your help.
VOLUN-Tooners are a huge part of what makes Voodoo successful. We need course marshals, registration volunteers, aid station crews, parking attendants, and enthusiastic people willing to help create a great experience for every participant.
Please use the registration process above if you'd like to volunteer.
