From big races to Saturday morning group runs—find fun run events and connect with the local endurance sports community.
Come join us for the Wildcat Fun Run and 5K. The race will benefit Statham Elementary School, 1970 Broad
Street, Statham, GA 30666. Both races will start/finish at the elementary and run on paved streets through
beautiful Statham, GA.
The Thriller Lake Endurance Run is a 12, 6, and 3 hour timed loop event on the 2.2 mile loop around Miller Lake at Little Mulberry Park in Gwinnett County, GA. It's a Halloween party combined with a race, featuring runners in costume, food, and music.
For 2025, Classic Running and Mount To Coast are providing overall winners with their choice of shoes!
The Trick or Treat Fun Run is for kids and adults of all ages looking for a trick or treat experience in a fun, safe, and positive community setting. Participants will complete one loop of the Miller Lake paved 2.2 mile trail with plenty of opportunities to experience the magic of Halloween. Costumes are highly encouraged, practically required! I mean, we'll be wearing ours… We will have several trick or treat stations along the course stationed with costumed volunteers and most importantly, candy! And don’t worry, you don’t have to run, but as night falls, things may only get stranger…. Just kidding… Or am I?
Seriously though, the Fun Run will start at 630PM, just as the sun starts to set, aka dusk. Most walkers can complete this loop easily under an hour and should be done before full dark (7:30PM). We still encourage guests to bring a flashlight, headlamp, old-timey oil lantern, or a lit torch if you’re concerned about the dark. Ok, maybe not a real torch, but you get the point. Strollers are allowed but we will have to discourage any type of bicycles, scooters, or motorized devices unless medically necessary as there will be other runners on the course as well as the general public. Please remember to always be aware of others using the trail and keep to the right when others need to pass.
The fun run will not be timed. Instead, every participant will get a glow-in-the-dark wrist band when you check in, so that our volunteers will know who is participating in the event. We’ll also have a special treat bag available for the kids, or they can bring their own!
Did we mention costumes? Oh yeah, it wouldn’t be a Halloween event without a costume contest! The top two best costumes (as judged by TEAM SUMMIT(and we know our stuff when it comes to costumes)) will get acknowledged AND the overall BEST costume will receive tickets to a Falcons game, courtesy of our friends with the Falcons organization.
Spectators and family are allowed in the start/finish area but everyone on the course must be registered for the event.
PERC Coffee will be brewed on site for all participants, spectators, and crew!
Come join us for the 5th annual running of The Boo! On Broad will be Saturday, October 31. This race is the beginning of the excitement leading into the mayhem that happens on Broad St every Halloween. We will be giving prizes for best costumes, all participants are encouraged to dress up.
We will have a 1K Fun Run that starts at 8:00am. The 5K begins at 8:30am. Both races start on Broad St and finish in front of the Statham Elementary School Gym. Proceeds from both runs will benefit the SES and Bear Creek Middle School Running Clubs. The running club at SES is for 4th and 5th graders and the earnings will go to much needed running clothes and apparel for the students. The running club at BCMS includes 6th, 7th and 8th graders. They are also in need of clothes and apparel as well as track and field equipment. Both clubs promote a healthy lifestyle and a source of self-confidence and accomplishment for the students.
