Kissimmee Main Street is proud to present the 18th Annual Kissimmee 5K, celebrating Valentine’s Day and promoting heart health. A portion of the proceeds will benefit a heart-healthy nonprofit, making every step you take part of a greater cause.

Enjoy a scenic lakeshore run as the early morning mist drifts over beautiful Lake Tohopekaliga. The route winds past Kissimmee’s charming historic homes and through our vibrant downtown, where unique shops and inviting dining spots line the streets. Along the way, you’ll take in some of the best views our historic city has to offer.

This fun, family-friendly event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities—strollers and leashed pets are encouraged to join the fun!

In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, participants are invited to dress in festive attire and take part in our three lively contests:

3. Care Club Award – for the largest participating group (church, organization, or business)

DESCRIPTION:

March for Meals St. Patrick’s 5K Run/Walk is a fun run event to create awareness of senior hunger and to raise money for the Meals on Wheels program in Osceola County through the Osceola Council on Aging. It is a fun run with a clock, so you can catch your time at the finish line!

This year’s event will be a few days before St. Patrick’s Day. Since we are so close to St. Patrick’s Day, we are asking all participants to have fun with the color “green” by wearing your “lucky” green to celebrate the end of Senior Hunger! We are asking you to put together a team and participate in our “Team Challenge” category and win the “MOST SPIRITED TEAM” and/or “LARGEST TEAM” in 2026!

Put your team together today and show your spirit, and help us fight senior hunger by supporting the Meals on Wheels in Osceola County program. Thank you for signing up, and we look forward to seeing you there!

TEAM CHALLENGE:

“Team Challenge” allows folks to sign-up for a team with five plus participants and compete for team awards in the following categories: MOST TEAM SPIRIT and LARGEST TEAM! Be creative, use your imagination and “Let’s Be Fit for FOOD.” We look forward to bringing together businesses and organizations from all over Central Florida for a day of fun – “Team Challenge” excitement! Special discount offered with five or more entries ($5 off).

RACE T-SHIRTS:

All participants who register for the 5K event will receive a unisex St. Patrick's themed color cotton t-shirt. Sizes are guaranteed through March 2, 2026.

FINISHER MEDALS:

All PAID 5K Fun Run participants will receive a custom March for Meals 5K Fun Run & Walk sponsored by KUA themed finisher medal. Children participating in the FREE Kid’s dashes will receive a finisher ribbon.

RACE TIMING & AWARDS:

This will be a chip timed 5K with timing provided by Southern Timing, LLC. Results will be streamed live during the race to https://www.southerntimingfl.com/results

Awards will be given to the top 3 Overall Male & Female Finishers along with the top 3 Male & Female finishers in each age group: 10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Plus, we will award the “Team Challenge” category and win the “MOST SPIRITED TEAM” and/or “LARGEST TEAM” in 2026!

FREE KIDS DASHES:

We will host a free kids’ dashes following the 5k event. All children ages 7 & under must be registered on race day at the Registration table. An adult must accompany all children participating and will receive a Finisher Ribbon and special awards for the top girl and boy finishers in each dash distance. Distances will vary by age group, ranging from 50 yards to 200 yards.

WEATHER:

Races will be held rain or shine; however, if severe weather is in the area, the race start may be delayed or cancelled. As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SAFETY RULES:

To ensure the safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited on the race course. You need to stay alert throughout the race, stay inside cones, and obey all race signage. Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

STROLLERS:

Strollers are allowed. Nurturing future generations of runners/walkers is a priority as is demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our children. We ask that registrants with strollers line up after the runners & walkers at the start line. Please listen for directions on where to line up on the day of the race. Only paid registrants of the 5K Fun Run/Walk will receive a finisher medal. If you would like your child to receive a medal, please register for them to participate in the Run/Walk.

Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at Kissimmee Lake Front Park beginning at 6:45 am. However, please do allow additional time to pick up your packet on race day due to parking and potentially long lines.

Proceeds from the race will go directly to the The Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary (FHPA). The FHPA is a proud 501(c)(3) nonprofit, whose mission is to support public safety, foster strong community relationships, and provide operational assistance to the Florida Highway Patrol.

This race is being chip timed and produced by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive live results with an individual results page that is complete with your pace breakdown, results, finisher certificate and a 20 second video of each participant crossing the start and finish line!

Join us on Sunday, March 15, 2026 8:30am and 10:30am (you will pick your start time during registration) for a fun event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Formosa Winery! This location might look like a big house in a field... but they are actually a tasting house on a large expanse of property that consists of a vineyard and various fruit orchards! Come inside to find a unique central Florida dining destination and memorable wine tasting experience to both locals and tourists alike. They have 50 wines from around the world on tap and are located just 2 miles from Walt Disney World, Orlando Florida and directly across the street from Margaritaville. So, whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the cider and camaraderie this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience!
