The iconic 51st Annual Billy Bowlegs race kicks off the summer running season on June 6th with a 7:30 AM start. We celebrate 51 years of this marquee event which includes a festive post-race of live music, food and drinks, so hang around and enjoy the festivities. Medals are quaranteed for the first 300 finishers. Packets may be picked up at Run With It on Friday, June 5 from 4:00 PM -6:00 PM and on race morning at FWB High School from 6:00 AM to 7:15 AM. The NWFTC will also have a booth at the May 24th Gate-to-Gate Run on Eglin AFB where you may sign up for the Billy Bowlegs race. The Billy Bowlegs Kid's Run will start shortly after the 5K ends at the FWBHS track.
Event details and schedule
Beat the heat on June 6th with a 7:30 start time and enjoy a shaded post-race with food, drink and live music with a waterview of the Okaloosa/Choctawhatchee Bay Sound.

Parking available at start/finish (FWB High School) or post-race (Liza Jackson Park West Pavilion).

7:30am Saturday August 8, 2026 Come out and join us for the 22nd Annual Josh Sprinkle Memorial 5K. Before the race begins there will be donuts, bagels, and fruit. There will be dozens of door prizes given away (MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN) including restaurant gift certificates and unique local prizes. Be sure and stay after the race for the awesome Post-Race picnic. We will also have drawing tickets for some great prizes (such as condo stays, massages) DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO WIN
