With nearly 900 veterans laid to rest on these peaceful grounds, our mission is to ensure each one is remembered with a wreath placed at their grave this Christmas season.
Every race entry helps fund the purchase of wreaths through Wreaths Across America, with a heartfelt goal: a wreath for every veteran. Together, step by step, we can make it happen.

The 8th Annual Game On Treasure Coast Triathlon will take place on Sunday, March 15th at Jaycee Park on Hutchinson Island. Sprint Distance Triathletes will start from the beach before heading out on a 1/4 mile swim in the calm waters of the Indian River Lagoon, followed by a 12.5 mile flat and fast, out and back bike course along A1A, and end the race with a 3.1 mile run on A1A and along the scenic Fort Pierce inlet. Olympic distance triathletes will complete a .9 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike and 6.2 mile run along the same beautiful course. Now offering the Duathlon in both Sprint and Olympic Distances! Each will start with a 1 mile run in place of the swim. This is a great race for beginners.
Jaycee Park is located at the intersection of South Ocean Drive and Melaleuca Drive on the Indian River Lagoon. Fort Pierce, often called the Sunrise City, situated on the "Treasure Coast," named after the famed sinking of a Spanish treasure fleet in 1715, Fort Pierce is one of the oldest communities on the east coast of Florida. Incorporated in 1901, the city grew from 300 pioneers to approximately 41,000 residents today and encompasses approximately 29 square miles.

About the 18th Annual Manatee Center 5K, One-mile, & Kids Run
2026 marks the 18th Annual Manatee Center 5K! This Run with a View gets bigger and better every year, we're including a ONE-MILE route again, as well as the Kids Run!
The 5K route is timed by Second Wind Timing. Overall 5K winners, Masters, and top three M/F in all age groups (grouped by 10 years) will receive awards. The first 350 walkers and runners to sign up for the 5k are guaranteed to receive beautiful finisher's medals to commemorate your accomplishment. All 5K registrants receive a Tech shirt (shirts guaranteed until February 28th)! ALSO: Kids 15 and under register for the 5k for only $25.
The one-mile route follows the 5K route but turns toward the beautiful Indian River Lagoon before crossing over Seaway Drive Bridge. This route is untimed and there will not be awards, but all registrants will receive tickets to the very popular runners drawing.
This race is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Manatee Center, which supports the operations of the Manatee Center in Fort Pierce. All proceeds stay local and are dedicated to enhancing environmental education through the Manatee Center, focusing on conservation and preservation of the Indian River Lagoon, an estuary of national significance, marine life within the lagoon, and the surrounding ecosystems.
The Friends of the Manatee Center is a 501 (c)(3) organization established to support and enhance environmental awareness, education, conservation, and stewardship of endangered species and natural resources fulfilling its mission through the Manatee Center.

Battle Of The Branches is coming this April 18th! Embark on a journey with your team or battle buddy to determine which branch is the best? Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Marines, or the Coast Guard? Last year Coast Guard took home the trophy and bragging rights!
With sponsor's, vendors, guest speaker, dj, food truck's, raffles, smoke grenades, free event photography, free event video, service dog donations, pugil stick fighting, free event shirt with sign ups, and "The Battle Of the Brews" between local breweries to see who has the best beer locally with you as the judge!
With obstacles to conquer, a 2 mile ruck march, and a simulated stress fire. This is the perfect opportunity to see if your team has what it takes to see who is the better branch!
Competive run and fun run included during Battle Of The Branches. To compete, it is only $20.00 per person. You MUST carry a backpack or rucksack. There is no mandatory weight. All backpack and rucksacks should be packed with non-perishable food's, hygiene supplies, and non breakable baby item's.

Please join us on Sunday, October 4, 2026 for the 6th Annual Run Hutchinson Island. This beautiful run begins at Causeway Cove Marina on Hutchinson Island. This event will feature a Half Marathon and a 10K race. Runners will experience Hutchinson Island favorites such as Causeway Cove Marina, Jetty Park, Fort Pierce Inlet, Fort Pierce Aquarium, and Museum Pointe Park. Wave to the boaters as you run alongside Fort Pierce Inlet or the sunbathers as run by Museum Pointe Beach. As a final "present", runners get to run underneath the South Fort Pierce/Cobb Bridge and not over it!.

The 4th Annual Pelican Yacht Club Turkey Trot 5K will take place on Thanksgiving morning, 2026! Pelican Yacht Club is once again opening its doors to the public in this event to support Jaycee Park and our running community. This race has sold out for the last two years, and will sell out again at 750 participants in 2026! Please take this opportunity to start your morning off right, with a trot and toast (drinks and snacks to be provided) at the Pelican Yacht Club. During the race, runners will experience the beauty of South Hutchinson Island as they trot through eclectic neighborhoods before getting to Ocean Boulevard. Runners will jog the jetty before heading back to the Pelican Yacht Club where the race will wrap up in plenty of time to get ready for Thanksgiving dinner! The Pelican Turkey Trot will not only rev up your appetite for Thanksgiving, but will also provide support for our community's beloved Jaycee Park!

The 9th Annual Treasure Coast Tri WINTER will take place at Fort Pierce's hidden jewel, Jetty Park. Starting from the beautiful sandy beaches south of the jetty, sprint distance triathletes will complete a .25 mile swim, followed by a 12 mile out and back bike course along A1A, and end the race with a 3.1 mile run that parallels and ends on the Fort Pierce Inlet Jetty. WOW! International distance triathletes will complete a .5 mile swim, a 24 mile bike and finish on jetty with a 6 mile run. Duathlon and Aquabike options are also available. The Game On! finish line will literally be on the Fort Pierce jetty for an experience like no other race!

Join us for the 4th Annual Wagging Tails on the Trails 5K & 9K Race at Pepper Park Riverside on Hutchinson Island. The event will take place on February 6, 2027, with the race beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Dog-Friendly Event

Dogs must be friendly, non-aggressive, and leashed at all times.

Free Puppy Dash for Kids
Children 10 and under are invited to participate in the Free Puppy Dash, a short, fun race scheduled for approximately 9:15 a.m. Each participant will receive a cupcake at the finish line. A youth event shirt may be purchased during registration for $10.
