How much do you love A1A? We'll find out in 2026!
Join us for the "We Love A1A" 14th Annual Spoonbills & Sprockets Cycling Tour on February 14, 2026. There are limited spaces available for this year's special ride featuring one of the nation's most iconic roadways, the A1A Scenic & Historic Coastal Byway!
Taking off from the start/finish at the Hammock Community Center, just steps from the Atlantic Ocean in Palm Coast, you'll enjoy nature's pristine beauty, historic sites and miles of ocean views, as you cycle along the A1A Scenic Byway.
This year's ride is limited to 100 participants and is all inclusive for those who choose the bundle.
Note: "Ride Only" participants receive a finishers medal.
Starting with the mix and mingle at the early packet pickup this ride includes breakfast and lunch the day of the ride. Also included in your bundle ride entry fee is an event number, t-shirt, exclusive signature event jersey by Florida fine art and muralist Brooke Page, and a custom finishers medal.
And that's not all!
Paid bundle participants receive a complimentary ticket to the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center for the "Ticket to the Moon: An ELO Tribute" show celebrating the 50th anniversary of the famed song, "Evil Woman" that evening.
What better way to say Happy Valentine's Day (and, WE LOVE A1A) than with the Friends of A1A?
Did You Know? This year's ride is our fundraiser for the A1A Centennial Project celebrating A1A's 100th Birthday in 2027. Thank you for supporting this historic project!
Why A1A?
No other stretch of highway reaches deeper into America's history than the A1A Scenic & Historical Coastal Byway.
This iconic 72-mile stretch of A1A along the coastline of St. Johns and Flagler counties is filled with recreation, adventure, nature and scenic beauty. Florida's Historic Coast has been part of American history for 500 years, and we're excited to share a look at one of the nation's greatest destinations with you!
The Friends of A1A is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection, preservation, promotion and enhancement of the A1A National Scenic Byway, now Florida's second All-American Road! Based on core values of transportation and safety, responsible, managed development, beautification of the scenic highway and surrounding communities, education and community outreach, and economic development and tourism, we strive to make our communities better, safer and more beautiful for residents and visitors to the A1A Scenic Byway.
We appreciate your support!
