Out of respect to all racing, NO DOGS ALLOWED due to the narrow course.

Awards/Swag

Finisher Award - To commemorate our 5th annual race (new and for this year only!), finishers in 2025 will receive a "campfire mug" (12oz finishers coffee cup stating your accomplish. It will also feature the picayune logo. Free coffee afterwards, so it'll come in handy!

Age group awards - Age group recognition is awarded in 10 year increments.... (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, etc). We will award a sustainable award to the TOP 3 in each 10 year age group. These rankings will be awarded after removing and recognizing THE TOP 10 OVERALL, which will be recognized separately (no double dipping!)

A GARMIN COURSE that you can download to your GPS watch is available via the link above or by searching courses in Garmin. The coordinates will keep you on track, and this is a great feature many people have but never use on their watch. Regardless, the course will be well marked with plenty of signage but it will require a "heads up" runner as all trail races do.

At Foot Loose Running, we want to encourage participation in the sport on a regular basis. We are proud to introduce our new pricing for 5K runs—"No Frills" and "Premium" Registration!

"No Frills" is a price for runners who only care about running a 5K. No shirt, no swag—just run! We will still offer refreshments and water for all runners.

"The "Premium" experience is for the runners who like the swag and shirts. Premium Registration ends early so that we can accommodate the runners.

"No Frills" and "Premium" registrations apply to all runners regardless of age. At Foot Loose Running, we want everyone to RUN

We're back again for 2026!

The 12th Annual Lipman 5K Run For Backpacks will be hosted in Ave Maria, FL.

The Lipman 5K is a race the whole family can participate in. ALL of the proceeds will go towards purchasing backpacks, bicycles, shoes, and other school supplies for Lipman's Annual Backpack Giveaway, hosted in Immokalee every August. This will be the 16th year that Lipman has hosted its backpack giveaway and this is a great way for you to contribute in a healthy way. School supplies are more essential than ever. Help us take the weight off of families during a demanding back-to-school season by registering for the Lipman 5K Run For Backpacks.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 21st, 2026 in beautiful Ave Maria. We have moved the race from Annunciation Circle to North Park - 4010 Anthem Pkwy, Ave Maria, FL 34142.

We invite the serious runner, the weekend jogger, and families with children to come enjoy this beautiful course around the lakes at Ave Maria. There will also be a 1 Mile walking course and a free Junior Fun Run for kids 10 and under. All race registrants will receive a dri-fit long-sleeved shirt.

Trophies will be awarded for the male and female winners in a number of age categories.

• Race day pickup is available at 6:00am at Paradise Coast Sports Complex - it is preferable to park on the north side of the park (off City Gate Blvd N.)

Kids Race will start at 8:30 and approx 1k- Free race no sign up necessary!

Shirts, Age Group Awards - Proceeds of the this race will go to SNIP Collier a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

What SNIPcollier is Doing:

To provide spay & neuter services to the most impoverished communities in Collier County Florida. Our goal is to end the euthanizing of otherwise adoptable dogs due to the pet overpopulation crisis.
